  1. Invaluable "contribution". Keep up the good work. In the meantime can you please enlighten us where the **** Iran and Middle East are - Antarctica maybe? That is maybe your third post in this thread. The first thing you've "contributed" was to use the fake phone number from the whois to call the scammers in Iran. Any other "brilliant" ideas or geography lessons? Or is the sole intention of yours to blabber constantly on every thread you see?
  2. I would propose contacting the company who registered the domain and try to shut the domain off. As far as I can see, this would be Online NIC, according to the whois.
  3. Virgin windows 7 installation two days ago - of course I installed thua latest drivers, since my video card was new too. Installed 13.9, could not make FSX work. Just uninstalled 13.9, restarted, installed 13.4, restated and all was fine. FSX running at limit fps. On the other hand, that Driversweeper thingy sounds quite suspicious. Never heard of it and really doubt it is any good.
  4. Why the 200ER and 300ER are so much wanted? What's the difference between them and the 200LR?
  5. aha, that would explain some of the confusion
  6. Arne, I believe the default key for AP is Z (AP master on/off). Ctrl-Shift Z shows as Altitude bug (select) at least in my default FSX config, but nevertheless I will try it. regards Ignat

Varying pitch with me too. Most visible in V/S mode. No matter climbing or descending. Does not seem to be connected to weather injection. I am getting it with default FSX weather (clear skies). For example, I dial -2000 fpm on the MCP. Pitch is constantly changing so my fpm is varying between -2150 and -1850. At first I thought it is a real world behaviour, but it does not seems logical. Will report on further findings.
  8. Same problem here. Saitek joystick too. Actually two problems, maybe one source: Cannot disconnect the AP with the Z button. Yes, I've read the intro and flown the tutorial. Pressing Z once - nothing. Pressing it twice with a second between - nothing, Pressing Z twice fast - nothing. It only seems to work for AP connect. Yes, I have Z mapped to AP. Only way I can go in manual is jerk the joystick around and then use the already set "resettable siren" option to mute it or flip the AP bar and mute it.
  9. It would be reproducible if anyone can reproduce it following exact steps to get the unwanted behaviour. If you are getting an error in CRZ in the middle of the ocean and then on a random airport, I would rather look at your MS VC++ runtime libraries installation for example. Did you read the intro doc, specially pages 0.00.11 and 0.00.12? Either way, reinstall them just to be sure.
  10. go back in the forest, troll. no one likes you.
  11. lol, WAY better than Asana though! Maybe we should start a new thread and everyone post his first T7 landing!
  12. Till yesterday AVSIM average page loads are about 2 minutes! Browsing from Eastern Europe over a 50 mbit fibre optic. No problems with other sites hosted in the US. Currenttly trying to download the hardware guide (1.6 MB pdf) which takes ~10 minutes.
  13. Awesome news! Fingers crossed this happens.
  14. Looks awesome! Can't wait to press the 'buy now' button. I've flown this beauty for couple of hours and she is stunning piece of machinery indeed. Glad to hear good initial responses.
  15. Or try another pdf reader. I can really recommend Foxit Reader, can be found here http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/
  16. Nothing beats the default Cessna 172 in its class. It has it all - nice textures, nice systems, quite OK flight model, couple of liveries, NDB / VOR / autopilot for navigation. It is a dream. For education or for VFR fun under an hour or two.
  17. Is there a comparison table between the 3 versions?
  18. Yep, you are looking at the back-end. Processor / execution times / system loads etc. are the back end. We are talking about the front-end. Where all the images, layers, banners, javascripts are. They are being rendered on the user side. Also have in mind that for many people "response time" is the time after which the website is actually loaded and working, not the network / apache actual response time, Tom. It is equally frustrating to browse AVSIM threads at average load times ~15 sec. Besides, I did not see any 'claims' about 'flawed' or 'has issues' in the previous posts. Everyone was polite and non aggressive, just slow speeds reports that have been experienced lately from long time members. It is entirely up to you sir how to respond to honest reports. What can I make out of your response is that your weekend could've been better. We are all adults and perfectly aware that the free service you offer is impeccable for over a decade. No doubts about that. As a full-time web developer, and if I may: for me the problem is in the front-end of the site, e.g. features. When we are browsing a simple thread, the browser loads 20 java scripts alone. All of which do something. Some of them are part of IPBoard, some of them provide extra functionality, e.g. paypal donate button or tapatalk support. In general we end up with ~100 http requests, all of which take time. In West Virginia it is negligible but in Europe it has big impact. The overall size of page 2 of this thread before my posting is 1.5 MB. Which is quite a lot when you see only two posts and two screenshots, no? And again: no whining, just trying to help. No disrespect or anything. I know it is rather annoying to have these kind of conversations, I feel like a child before his father after breaking the MIng dynasty vase just typing this post. But really, no one is trying / wanting to be offensive. Thank you for your time. best regards Ignat P.S. I am attaching a screenshots how does my browser render page 2 of this thread before my posting (no banners or extra stuff) and the loading time line for clarity. rendering at http://i.imgur.com/MDKy4Im.jpg time line at http://i.imgur.com/D82hZVD.png
  19. Tom, no one is asking to shut the guests or anything. It's just our favourite website is pain to browse lately. I am sure you get 1.3 sec response. However, here beyond the big blue, the things are bit different. For me, things look like this as we speak: 268 requests - 1.3 MB (1.1 MB from cache) - 24.99s (onload: 16.71s) Please have a look at this: http://www.webpagetest.org/result/130406_VW_R89/ In my humble opinion, 250+ http requests are a bit of an overkill. 7.5 sec before the caching from Dulles, VA. That's for the front forum page (forum.avsim.net) Please, take this not as whining, I am just trying to help improve the site. best regards Ignat
  20. I can confirm AVSIM has been running rather slowly lately. Reported the issue couple of times, hope there is something that can be done. After some testing it seems the connection to the AVSIM server is the the range of 140-150 ms of ping, so I would suppose it is maybe the website itself. It may need some front end optimisation or something else, not sure. Try downloading program called WinMTR and test your connection to AVSIM. At least you will know if it's your service provider or something else. regards Ignat
  21. Hey Jim, thanks for the info. Reading your replay though, make me realise that maybe I've should mentioned I'm talking about Europe and not the US (I see Megascenery is US only). Anyway, I get the big picture. So - no matter which after which I install, the important thing is their order in my scenery library, right? thanks Ignat
  22. hey guys, can someone post a simple procedure for scenery enhancements installation? Since there are couple of types of enhancements I am not sure which after which I should install (landclass, mesh, textures, etc.) A quick rundown of the recommended payware products of each type will also be greatly appreciated. By now I have my eyes pointed at the following: GEX, UTX, SceneryTech. I also find FS global and ORBX UK very interesting, but will they work with GEX/UTX/scenerytech combo? thanks in advance
  23. No it's not. I've never had more than one monitor and I still got that. Luckily it's gone after some reinstall.
  24. That would've been SWEET! Cmon PMDG, You already have the SDK for the NGX, how hard it is to shuffle some cockpit variables over tcp/ip?
  25. I know maybe there are easier things to implement but when you think of it, a decade in modern simming (FS9+), only one aircraft has shared its cockpit properly, namely the Leonardo Maddog. Recently, Flightsimlabs announced they will have it in their upcoming A320, but only in the professional edition which is still not clear if would sell to end users or to flight schools and such. Given the lack of multi-crew aircraft on the market (at least for MSFS, I don't know how it is over at Xplane), one would assume that pairing a best-in-class products like the NGX / T7 / 727v2 with a unique feature raising the immersion to new never-seen levels, this will sell like there's no tomorrow. Given the current market outline, surely PMDG is one of the few developers who would have the resources to pull it off. Just think of it - modern tube liners are not meant to be flown by one person. Yea, of course we do it on a regular basis when simming, but it's very far away from reality. The sales of multi-crew enhancement add-ons like fs2crew prove it. I really really hope PMDG will get the shared cockpit for us and add it to the NGX / T7 / 747v2 line. I for one am waiting ~3.5 years now to fly (something other than the maddog) with a friend using procedures and check-lists as a real crew.
