The Maddog awakes

Featured Replies

Interesting news at Leonardo Software...a service pack for the Maddog has been released and Davide is considering a major upgrade:

"We are evaluating the development of a major upgrade to Fly The Maddog, that will include a new, fully FSX-compliant, 3D and virtual cockpit model. The project has not started yet, there is no estimate of development time and date of release. We are currently trying to find a 3D designer and already contacted a few. Of course if anyone who read this has the capabilities to work on such a project, can contact us at our support email."

BTW, his support email is support-at-flythemaddog.com

That's very interesting!

I've heard and read lots of good stuff about this aircraft and many people saying it's still despite its age the most realistic aircraft even better than the NGX when it comes to system and flight modelling.

Wow. That's a MAJOR surprise! A very GOOD one for sure.

Best regards, Fritz ESSONO

L'importante non è stabilire se uno ha paura o meno, è saper convivere con la propria paura e non farsi condizionare dalla stessa. Ecco, il coraggio è questo, altrimenti non è più coraggio ma incoscienza.

This is fantastic news indeed! Have loved the Maddog since 2006 and an upgrade would be most welcome.

Fantastic! This is by far one of the best aircraft made for FSX and could use this much needed upgrade.

Great to see Maddog going alive again, it's one of my favourite FSX addons!

Awesome news! Fingers crossed this happens.

THE best addon deserves this! Fingers crossed...

This would be awesome. I'm hoping for pop out displays for home built setup I have. Of course I'm set up for 737ng layout so displays will not be vertical setup but that's ok.

I'm actually re-installing the Maddog as i type this.  I just hope this upgrade goes ahead!
