Ultralight's/Boats/Jetskis

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I mainly like to sight see and bush fly when I play FSX.

Are there any different Ultralight or glider type aircraft.

Not some crappy freeware model, but a detailed model that's worth the $$$.

Would love one with water floats/skis.

I'm also interested in adding some high quality watercraft.

Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10
MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled)
8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled)
32GB DDR4 3000 Ram
500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2

Yup, if you want a really good Ultralight, then that would be this, including a floatplane version (which you can actually get as a demo):

Best quality watercraft for FSX are these:

Any fans of microlight flying in the UK may be interested in this scenery...compat/needed with Gen-X & JF VFR :-

http://www.northern-...ghts-fsx.co.uk/ a very worthy addition to any setup.

Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Very unique website design that is. 200 airfields, that's a lot to explore. I'm running some of the UK2000 VFR airfields stuff, but this package looks interesting too.

I've heard there are a one or two mesh issues with that microlight scenery, although I don't actually have it so that is only what I've heard and not what I know, I've considered getting it a few times though and might get around to it at some point, since any UK senery is always nice to have.

Quick preview of one of Deltasim's boats. This is their ELCO PT Boat, of a kind similar to the rather famous PT-109 which JFK served upon. Personally, I'd prefer a Vosper MTB since I'm a Brit and the RN used them, or an RAF Air Sea Rescue launch, but since they don't make either of those, I had to settle for this. It manages about 40 knots, which is as per the real thing. A lot of the stuff on it actually works too. I've not tested this in Prepar3d yet, which is actually what I bought it for since P3D does have better water modeling than FSX, but it is kind of fun in FSX to explore rivers with it.

Here's some of pics of me conducting a daring raid up Liverpool's Mersey Estuary in an attempt to get close enough to Newton-le-Willows so that I can launch a torpedo attack against Rick Astley, thus preventing him from making any more dreadful records. Note that some of the controls are under flip up covers, such as the torpedo launch controls, and you can man various gun positions too, so these shots of the VC do not show all of the control panels:

Haven't encountered any Mesh problems myself, with the above. But then I havent visited all the farm strips/fields within. They all show in the GPS when installed, though many are not suitable for fixed wing...too short.

See post No. 21 here...a real must, to find some of them :Hypnotized: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/361307-orbx-compatible-freeware-addons/

 On torpedos in FSX, I only found this one so far. What do you think? Shooting torpedos in FSX.

Yeah, I think that idea on the limited time to visit them all is the thing holding me back from exploring the ones I already own. But thanks for the tip on some more fields in nice detail.

Rick is laughing all the way to the bank...still. :LMAO:

I suspect Stock Aitken and Waterman are the ones laughing all the way to the bank, rather than Rick himself, he has to date only received about 15 Dollars in royalties for all of that Rickrolling phenomenon for example, although having said that, he does live in Richmond, which is not a cheap place to have a house, so he can't be that skint.

Great video on the Seabee. Just for catching the plane spirit again.
