It is a great addon. Gibraltar is a specific place, which you probably know well.

There are a lot of details around and they do not influence FPS due to its rather small size and very limited air traffic.

On the other hand you will find amazing surprises like animated car traffic waiting for the tollbars to raise, bird sounds, etc.

If you want to practise some difficult and very spectacular approaches with aircraft up to A320/737 size, give it ago.

The only disadvantege is that the Gibraltar rock looks not ideally convincing, especially if you have another mesh of that area.

But it is not a real stopover. All in all a small yet brilliant addon scenery.

Thanks for your good assessment. I know it is sort of out there with little going on except at the airport. I really wanted it when it first came out so I might as well go ahead and buy the "Rock".

I'll second what Rafal said. Gibraltar is definitely one of my favourite airports.

If you want RAF traffic, you might want to tweak the AFCAD a bit. If you want mine, I'd be happy to send it to you. Nothing radical - just added some "combat aircraft" spots on the tarmac for the occasional Tornado and made the RAF area specifically for military transport. I love this scenery - it is quite amazing

I can see where this can be one's favorite airport. I purchased it this morning and have had a blast checking it out with my BMW and then a helicpoter ride over the "rock". Great purchase for less than $17 usd. I first I couldn't see any traffic going across the airport. Duh! I then realized since I had my plane on the RWY the gates were closed. Once I got off the RWY there were all kinds of traffic starting to go across.
