May 7, 201214 yr Hello: Iam running win 7 64 and have recently bought the voice commander edition for the js-41. problem is, the on button won't stay on even though I have the English (US) speech module installed. I have also tried a trial version of VOXATC and it is telling me to switch to English(US) even though, once again that module is installed. The mic works and I am able to use window voice commands without a problem, so Windows is hearing me but not FSX. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. (I have EZDOK and TRACK IR installed but no other speech programs that might get in the way). Lon Duncombe Lon Duncombe CND4
May 7, 201214 yr Author OK, System Mechanic is the problem which really sucks. I'm not about to reinstall Windows, plus System Mechanic does a great job in keeping my computer running, so it looks bye bye to FS2Crew. Lon Duncombe Lon Duncombe CND4
May 7, 201214 yr I don't understand your post Lon. To the OP, I have a similar problem maintaining FS2Crew to recognise my headset even though Win7 and FSX are set up correctly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it dosent. So guessing it might be a sequencing thing and will let u know if I have anything reliable to post.
May 8, 201214 yr Commercial Member Nope, the problem is our friend "System Mechanic". Lon emailed me and told me that VOX ATC no longer works either, which is no surprise given that System Mechanic damages SAPI in some weird way. The people at System Mechanic told me they are aware of the problem and working on a fix, but I'll believe it when I see it. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
