News on DTG Simulator is coming soon!
Just likes the defunct Aces Studio did, I'm sure Dovetail peruse these forums for intelligent opinion and comment. I think the debate is important and I eagerly await any significant releases that support a simulator and not a game.

MCE and FSX:SE?
+1 curious about MCE and FSX SE interoperability. Also, to OP, I've given up on the very brilliant but very legacy RC4 just recently.

FSUIPC for FSX:SE Available!
No problems experienced with fsuipc in FSX SE except my user registration wasn't recognised. I copied the relevant files from my registered fsuipc in FSX to solve.

FSX and Steam Forums
I agree with Tom. I downloaded. Seems more like a commercial wrapper around the same old code. 2015 will provide the air space where DTG intend to fly. I hope they respect the flight sim user community seriously and the add-on market professionally.

I feel dumb
I'm going through the same. I made the initial mistake of thinking the FO was simply there for my convenience to do stuff as I order through the headset. But actually if the scripting follows real life procedure then it's far cleverer than I assumed. The software is about real procedure and opens up a new dimension in FSX to me. So, my next mistake was to treat the manual's appendices as a sequential tutorial whereas it's really groups of procedure scripts.Read them more fluidly and jump about the pages to work out the flow that best suits you. Sometimes I go from cold and dark and sometimes I just ask for coffee! And sometimes i just get it wrong lol. Be patient and think real life procedure - that seems to be the big picture.

speech recognition problem
I don't have System Mechanic installed. My misunderstanding.

speech recognition problem
I don't understand your post Lon. To the OP, I have a similar problem maintaining FS2Crew to recognise my headset even though Win7 and FSX are set up correctly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it dosent. So guessing it might be a sequencing thing and will let u know if I have anything reliable to post.

Main panel query
Hi, just bought FS2Crew for my default FSX B737's but seem to have a problem with the main panel display cutting off the lower 1/4 of the words on all the check list displays. I've tried a number of screen resolution settings but it does not affect a remedy. Suggestions most welcome. Thanks.

Fs 2 Good to be True Crew!
Wish l hadn't read this because now l will have to buy ;) I really want to drop Radar Contact but still like not feeling so "alone" on the flight deck.

Everyone is okay with flying in a simulation but how about a real plane?
My recent trial flight in a Cessna was great although l forgot everything l've been doing on the sim for the last 20 years!!! Eventually started scanning my six and relaxed. I think the big difference is the real environment where you feel and see the world around you dynamically changing in a very vulnerable little cockpit! I was happy to flare on landing but forgot to brake as I don't use pedals at home! Lol

How FSX works. My understanding of it, or lack there of.

My First Forum “BANNED” ORBX
JV in a tailspin as MS snubbed Him? All staked on P3D and sod the consumer market? Clearly his stakeholders are not in his own forums. Sad days.

From PCmag.
Still nothing definitive from MS. If the article is factual and no one else picks up the real sim market then its been great flying with you guys for the last 20 odd years. Catch you shuffling around the air museums! :-(

Clue number one on January 1:
Manage them? Okay. If l lower my expectations l can't be disappointed. ;-)

ORBX 33% off sale
I talked to JV a few times at the very beginning of VOZ way before Orbx. I can't deny he's a talented developer and his results are superb but John has a determined mind and never took criticism well, most responses being aggressive and almost childlike even then.Frankly I don't know where the MSFS hobby is going but I will do my very best to distinguish gifted amateurs from true entrepreneurs. The choice will always be mine and I will always bear the risk. I feel great empathy for those that have been ripped off as their expectation of quality and fairness has not included the customer experience, but most all of us have been disappointed by some parts of our hobby in some way in the past. (How much have I spent on chasing much promised FPS?!?) :-)
