  1. Eclipse Virtual launched this weekend. www.eclipsevirtual.com We are striving to set ourselves apart from other VAs in the following ways; We are a start up airline, our first aircraft is the Cessna C208B caravan. Only through our pilots flying do we generate revenue to buy new aircraft types and expand. On our Board of Directors we have RL pilots with careers in civilian and military flying on hand to offer advice and complete training flights using the shared cockpit feature. Our pilots can subscribe to our charter service. This feature allows the pilot to specify how often and the average duration of flights, we then generate flights to fulfil those criteria outside our scheduled route database. This ensures a new challenge and a different route each time you fly. We understand that there are many well established VAs out there and the choice can be overwhelming, but we have created Eclipse building on our own experiences of flying for those airlines. We know we offer a more involved experience that will constantly give you new, varied challenges. Join today at www.eclipsevirtual.com.
  2. Hey, Does anyone know where I could find what the largest VA's are currently (in terms of membership/active pilots)? I know a few that are very big (BAW, globe cargo etc) but I'd like to see which are the biggest. Thanks!
  3. I used to fly for http://flyuk.aero and before that http://bavirtual.co.uk. Due to reasons to do with little time, I ended up leaving ba then last year I left flyuk. My preferred of the two is definitely BA, however, it's now impossible for me to join back -- long waiting lists, etc etc. I want a VA you can apply for a get a place QUICKLY. What I love about both the VAs is that they're both really professional (check out their sites). I've seen a few vas online, but they aren't realistic enough. I want a va with its own acars system (for recording flights), that is professional. All these vas I've found so far are awful. if i can't find another va, then i'll probably apply to flyuk again. so any suggestions? Thanks

  8. I'm interested in doing some dispatching for VA's and was interested to know if there are any VA's currently that make use of live dispatchers (I know delta VA uses them but they only accept new ones once in a while despite being brutally understaffed and you have to be a pilot first :( ) Thanks!
