I have FSX and yesterday received the GENX DVD for North America. Installed OK. Updated to latest version (1.095 if memory serves) then I flew a flight that I fly often enough (almost 10 hours for the 10' flight from CYRP to CYRO For this route I fly over the city of Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) but the only difference I noted in the scenery was that there were more trees and better defined vegetation. No recognizable City view. Did I just throw some good money away? I also received but have not installed yet, the Africa & Middle East GEN X but have not installed it yet. I want to fly around the Pyramids and hope that GEN X can show me better details of the area (and Cairo, a city I know well.) Is it just the vegetation that gets clearer with those installations? I haven't tried the light of Vegas yet. Cheers

Bonjour, I looking for an addon or scenery (FSX) which most reliable for VFR flying in Québec (Canada). In the other words I need an addon or scenery which is most relative for VFR navigation chart. It means that FSX should include at least all objects according VFR charts. Recently I tested Flight1 - Ultimate Terrain X: Canada (Scene) in general it is OK, according lakes, rivers it great. But surprisely, for example, during flight I didn't find wind farm fields according my waypoints. Also in comparing with Google earth the Ultimate Terrain X somethimes includes an small villages, objects (homes, buildings). In some cases the Ultimate Terrain has not big objects like bid schools with several baseball, soccer, football fields. May be I need to add something to Ultimate Terrain? Any suggestions are wellcome!

Just a few randoms from recent flights. I think KJAC is one of my favorite destinations so far. The hot and high runway is good fun. I'm gonna try a CYEG to SBRJ. Just for fun; see how the 777 handles the 4,300 foot runway!

Hey everybody. I was wondering if anyone has made an attempt at creating the Avro Canada C102 Jetliner in FSX. I really like this old plane and the heritage it has, and really want to be able to fly it. I don't know any places where you could get the specs for it, but I'm sure some digging will turn someting out. http://en.wikipedia....a_C102_Jetliner If anyone could help out, that'd be great! I don't know how to design aircraft or anything of the sort, so I can't do this. Thanks! FYI: This is my first post, and I'm pretty new at this, so if I make any mistakes, correct me. -
We are the new VA Virtual Airlines. We are a virtual airline that is through the VA Financials website and uses their own ACARS system (VAFS5). We offer the following to our pilots. 1. Real World Route - Our routes are built based on real world flight information, some past some current. One exception is we will fly special flights every now and then that is not an actual route for our company. 2. Real World Aircraft - We only use aircraft that are or were used by ACA at one time. 3. Choice of Flight Company - With us you can fly either ACA or AC Rouge. 4. Hubs - Currently our available hub is only CYYZ as we are still new and trying to get off the ground.
