From what we've seen so far, MSFS looks fantastic almost everywhere in the world. However what most reviewers complain (or even laugh) about are missing landmarks. And I have to admit, Washington without the Capitol, Paris without Notre Dame and so forth looks kind of strange. Not to mention cities that have no handmade landmark at all. Especially in Europe important buildings (like castles, cathedrals, television towers or lighthouses) certainly define the whole landscape around them and are vital orientation points for VFR flying. Not only those in cities, but especially those in the middle of nowhere (Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, Pont du Gard...) So what do you think we'll see after release: Microsoft/Asobo handing out more landmarks (for free)? Or third party developers jumping in (ORBX already started with London) or will there be a community delivering handmade landmark buildings? I think packs would be cool, like "European Landmarks" or something. There used to be a product called German Landmarks about 15 years ago which was pretty good value for little price.

Default Niagara Falls have photogrammetry but the actual falls are totally broken. They are beyond ugly, they are simply unbearable. So I have decided to try and fix that. This pack features enhanced scenery for Niagara Falls area (Canada/USA) with animated color-changing night illumination of the falls, to compliment default photogrammetry and autogen areas and default terrain fixes for maximum VFR flight enjoyment. Unfortunately the terrain editor is very buggy, so it's not possible to completely fix them. However using a combination of terrain terraforming polygons and imported photogrammetry I made them as good as I can, considering the broken state of the SDK. Please note: don't expect a perfect result, because it's not. But I think this pack looks much better than default, and cyclic random color illumination of the falls at night looks really nice. The power generation dams are out of default photogrammetry area and were completely flat. I added them, and also replaced several fugly opaque bridges with proper transparent models.Download here. Video starting from the night lighting demo, but you can rewind to beginning to see it in early evening and see the casino lighting. More images: Details:

I think these 2 categories will be the most popular in MFS2020. I can't wait and hope more 3rd party devs and hopefully brand new 3rd party devs will join in to make awesome City and Landmarks add-ons. I think these will be extremely popular and sell very well, since the foundation or base sim has a solid framework to build upon. Would love to see downtown Hong Kong with all the modern buildings, and other cities from around the world as well.
