Question about complexity

Featured Replies

This is mostly a question for Bryan.

I have had the distinguised pleasure of being the owner of several FS2Crew packages. My first package was the LevelD 767, and something about this package has really knocked me out, with its different features, and i'm kinda sad these features are missing in other add-on's

for example things like calling the operation center, and checking the flight controls with the FO, and asking the FO to seat the cabin. I really miss stuff like that in the never editions, espicially the NGX version.

Howcome these were not included? is it an SDK question?

Hi Lukas,

The FS2Crew FO instructs the FA's to be seated in the NGX.

Check flight controls: We modeled it the way it's done according to Boeing SOPs for the NGX.

The 767 version was modeled on First Choice Air in the UK, and their SOPs are custom and different from Boeings.

Operations Center: Generally that'd be done via ACARs. The SDK doesn't allow me to add functionality to the CDU.

Cheers,

Bryan:

would it be possible to add, eventually/optionally calls such as "aileron full left, aileron full right, elevator full up etc" on controls check on craft with controls position indicator option? Could you add that when/if you write the code for 777 that should have it standart?
