I am having problem with VCV,

 

"PREFLIGHT CHECKLIST" including RWY ENTRY PROC goes flawless. After takeoff VCV stops responding. Specially some of MCP commands. Starting SELECT and SET. I didn't try OH panel commandants yet>

Speech Recognition works well, I have no problem until Takeoff. (I never had any problem PMDG -747X VCV).

I uninstall and reinstall VCV. No success,

Will you please advise .

Are you sure you have Servicepack 1C for NGX installed and are you sure you're using Fs2Crew 1.3?

Are you positive you're using the correct syntax for the voice commands as described in the manual?

 

Is the command showing up in the green bar?

I printed all syntax, and keep looking at before I give the command.

Interesting thing, some times, green bar does not appears at all, but FO verifies the command. This happens usually, in LANDING mode.

IN Takeoff mode I say Set headings xxx. IN bar Captain says"Pound", I say "Set Flight Level 230" FO says Heading set 78" and plane starts to turn heading 078.

 

No response for the following commands:

 

SET FLIGHT LEVELxxx

SET ALTITUDE xxxx

SET VERTICAL SPEED UP xxxx

 

All commands with bigining SELECT

If you don't see it in the green bar, it means the speech command is not being detected.

 

Try running the Voice Training again.

 

Also check your microphone.

1-The GOOD NEWS : Now, all VCV COMMANDS are working perfect and FO performs accordingly.

2-The BAD News: To achieve these commands , I have to give commands in FSX PAUSE mode.

3- Green bar is not appearing any longer.

Are you using Saved Situation files?

 

Try loading the Trike first then load the NGX.

 

Sometimes Saved Situation files cause weird issues.

 

 

No,I don't use saved situation files.

I can't believe , how perfect VCV is working with FSX pause mode. but it is not realistic, I cannot press pause every commands issues.

I don't have any idea any longer.

It sounds to me like your pc is overloaded with work. What programs do you have running besides FSX and Fs2Crew? And what are your pc spec.?

I don't think the prob is his PC is overloaded, but who knows.

Try deleting your FSX.CFG file (make a backup first).

 

I've never seen a situation before where the commands only work while FS is 'paused'. That's just strange.

 

Failing that, email me and I'll help you via a remote desktop.

 

 

 

 

 

This isn't the situation whereby FS2Crew is paused when FSX is running and vice versa is it? i.e. pauses out of synch?

 

I don't get that problem after the various updates but it did occur didn't it?

I thought about that, too, but that issue was fixed.

 

So long as he has the most current version (V1.3) he should be totally okay.

 

And it's especially weird since it only happens after takeoff...

I just made a test flight. Some thing is totally wrong with VCV, It looks like my case is an isolated problem. I will leave it like that. MY FSX,Cfg file after Srdan Kostic (aka Word Not Allowed)

Hardware & Flight Simulator Forums Moderator tweaks and mod application is working perfect. I will hesitate to touch it again.

I will start to use Buttons Version.

I saw some posts regarding "System Mechanic" tool. I am using this tool. I wonder if this tool is the source of my problem.?
