IRIS A-10 Warthog on sale at PC Aviator

Featured Replies

Its on sale for 20 bucks at PC Aviator until Midnight of the 23 of May. I bought it on the Christmas a couple years back, its a fun plane to use and the VC is quite good. Can't speak for the quality of the flight characteristics.

Yup, I got this bird the last time it was for sale. You're right, it is a fun bird, but I rarely get it out of my hangar. If I want to get across some of the large open spaces of Orbx's CRM or NRM, then I may use it to scour the scenery, but it rarely lasts long as I prefer to fly my civvie aircraft. Good value though at $20!

And, this month's issue of PC Pilot has a very in-depth Tutorial which if it's anything like their previous DCS Black Shark Tutorial, will be spread over 3-4 issues and is very thorough, and absolutely recommended.

Got this for tuppence or whatver it was when IRIS had that mad sale a year or so ago when each day something was really mega-low priced, in fact like everyone else on here, I ended up with almost everything they sold since it was a total no-brainer to buy them at those prices LOL. It's quite a nice thing though and still well worth it for 20 bucks.
