May 18, 201214 yr First of all, thank you for a wonderful add on.I fly online with Vatsim and I have GSX full version and it works a treat. 1. After the before taxi check list is finished I'd like to hear the the crew explaning the emergency check list to the pax. 2. After the "OK to clean up" the Hostess will say :Ladies and gents please remain seated until the plane has stopped ...etc,standard message of all Airlines. 1&2 should come on automatically without pressing any button. 3. Go around I have not seen any flow chart relating to the MAP nor it is in the DOCs. I do it quite often and a detailed explanation would be welcome. I tried with button but the throttle does not seem to come on at all. Thanking you in advance AlainV
May 18, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi Alain, What's your last name? Please see our new Real Name policy thread. What version of FS2Crew are you using? 1 and 2 are already there so long as you have the PA volume turned up on the Main Panel. Go around, not sure what you mean by the throttle, but we're modelling the Boeing Procedures. The FS2Crew FO does not touch the throttle. B. May 18, 201214 yr Author Thanks for the reply.OK I will put the volume up to see if I can hear anything different ,I use the 1.3 version. For the go around I mean full throttle. Therefore maxthrust then the FO will do the rest...I will try again. Alain Verhaeghe
May 19, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi Alain, Setting the throttle is the Pilot Flying's responsibility, not the PNF's (the FOs). B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
May 19, 201214 yr One thought I have had (with button version) is once I declare "Landing" around minimums there is no FS2Crew option for missed approach anymore if something unforeseen happens after minimums. Once "Landing" is declared the only FS2Crew option is "Okay to clean up". Could you add the "Missed approach" or "Go around" option for the secondary button in a future patch after "Landing" was declared? Jay Vorkapic
May 19, 201214 yr Author Ok, I have max volume and I can hear everything.I did a few go around, works a treat...better than ever. Alain Verhaeghe
May 25, 201214 yr Author Two more things I found, after take off check list: flaps...FO flaps down...surely it should be flaps UP Parked at the gate the ground crew says:chocks are in please released the parking brakes. I do and it shows off in the VC but on the outside view it still shows in red and stays there. This only happens when I use FS2crew,not really annoying but just to let you know. Alain Verhaeghe

Alain Verhaeghe Flaps position is read via the SDK... your flaps probably weren't all the way up. This: I do and it shows off in the VC but on the outside view it still shows in red and stays there. I don't quite follow. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
May 27, 201214 yr Author Ok, I have done some rechecking and the Fo does say"flaps down"(I have waited to make sure the flaps were really up) with the After take off" check list. On the other hand with the shutdown check list he does say:flaps up. With FS if you have the parking brakes on,it's highlited in red:Parking brakes-Press Period to release.I do as it says and the line disapear. When I have FS2crew on and after the ground crew says(with the shutdown ckeck list) :chocks are in,please release parking brakes.I do it and I can hear the parking brakes being released but on the screen the red line is still showing parking brakes on. This only happens with the shut down check list. When I do the pushback and release the brakes no problem.... Alain Verhaeghe

Alain Verhaeghe That is because in the NGX, when the chocks are in, the signal from the NGX to FSX is brakes on. This is by design by PMDG, not FS2crew.
