Maxloading

I beleive the VS works with the FLC to maintain a constant speed ( equivalent of CTRL T) and the speed will show up on the top left hand corner of the PFD in blue:I haven't got the combination right yet. AlainV

Glad it's ok now.I noticed another thing.On the pilot PFD top left hand corner,the speed indicator in blue has the arrow showing the wrong way. Also it is not working too well unless I put the ani ice on.Anybody noticed it? AlainV

I would unistall it and clean the register and check that there is no files left under carenado. Alainv

For the hundreds of feet use shift 4 for the auto pilot.Click on the altitude button in the centre for the thousand and the bottom for the hundred. Mine works fine on the VC as well.Once the yaw damper is on,you cannot disengage it.Also the batterie shows 28volts but always 0 amps. if you do shift 1 you will get the pop up PFD and it will switch off the copilot PFD. There is a 2d pop up panel for the auto pilot(shift 4) which is much easier to handle.All the rest works fine for me.Use Shift 6 for all the options. AlainV

I did not like the V1 at all, but in V2 it is much better.It is not as intuitive as the GTN760 but it works fine and of course you have to learn all the hot spots again. It takes a fair amount of time but in the end I like it as a spare tool. Alain

same here,it does not work at the moment.I have reverted to the G1000 and works fine. We will have to wait for Bert to find a solution. AlainV

OK, I tried a different route and it worked.What I think I did was to put the last level FL360 instead of the first level FL280. Thanks for the help anyway. AlainV

HI, Here is what I noticed when I did some tests.I have the SP1b upgrade. I just wanted to check the fuel consumption, so I took the route KEWR to VHHH from the forum with a full load.I was using the 300ER. I came back later on to check and I noticed:insufficient Fuel.Strange because all the calculations were all right at the beginning. I saw then the a/c was at FL280 instead of FL340.Maybe I did not set up the step climb properly. The next day I decided to do the same FP with the 200 instead.I double check the option for the auto cruise,ON and 4X max. I came back and with luck the step climb was just 32nm away.I watched it decrease normaly and at 2 nm from it the FMC stopped decreasing. For a moment I thought FSX was frozen but I then noticed the ND was not updating either.Very strange because the scenery was still moving at 4X. I then changed the FL to 340 and clicked the button.10 seconds after the a/c started to climb and a few moments later the FMC and the ND went back to normal... I was flying off line and the WX was MS default of 270/25 at altitude.I have windows 7. Apart from that everything is working fine and I am more than satisfied with the a/c. AlainV

Bonjour, Oui il faut mettre le premier niveau FL360,et ensuite l'auto climb fait le reste.Dans le fmc il faut aussi mettre les differents niveau 360,380,400 pour que ça marche. AlainV

Here is what I do: Landing: touch down Full reverse. Z twice to disengage the auto pilot. At 60 knots press the trigger twice on my joystick to put the brakes on manual,it works fine for me. All the best. AlainV

It's a wonderfull a/c and I found it easy to use.I love to take-off at MTOW, hearing the rumble of the wheels,feeling the power of the of the engines.Once up in the air it's surprisingly pleasant to hand fly.Thanks also for the cruise control.Everything works without any problem whatsoever. I always fly with full load and adjust the fuel so I can land at any major airports. 777:50%, AXE 30%, NGX 15% and MD11 5%. AlainV

HI, I do not know if it's only me but I found that after several night flights, the logo lights are really too dim compared to the NGX . They should be about 50% brighter .It seems it must be a foggy day everywhere! Has anybody noticed it? AlainV

Ok,I did check what you wrote and it's all there but no change. Anyway it's not a real pain but it would have been faster. On the Aerosoft airbus it works fine,I will give a closer look,thanks anyway Steven. AlainV

HI, Although all click spots works beautifully and are very useful I would like 1 extra one if possible at all. Instead of pressing the letter A 3 times to arrive at the upper panel would it be possible to have a click spot under WXR on the MCP panel,or have a toggle key ( F9) to do the same thing. I have my panel set in a certain way and with a toggle key I have a quick access and do not have to reset anything. Thanks for a wonderful plane. AlainV

I do a rough calculations which works for all my jet. 450 nm = 1 hour = 8t for the T7.I add 30mns for holding and 1 hour for safety. NGX 2.6T p/h,MD11X 8T,AES 2.6T and NGX 2.6. For the T7 I Apply full load then I amend the fuel only,amazing aircraft. AlainV

HI, I do the same as you with active sky evolution no problem, but you have to desactivate the weather within FSinn, it's a well known bug. All the best. AlainV

Hi, The same thing happened to me with the AoA training flight from PANC to KMEM with their routing and WX. After about 2 hours the fuel temperature started to get very low and the power was dropping like a stone.I managed to level FL100 and climb again but the same thing started again.I never managed to solve the problem.I redid the same thing on VATSIM and noticed the temperature was not as low as the AoA flight and had no problem in finishing the flight.I would like to know if somebody solved the problem. Bonjour, Dans le MD11X de PMDG l'ILS se met automatiquement sans rien toucher du moment qu'on insert la piste dans le FMC.Il faut aussi aller dans le set up de PMD et cocher auto-tune... Pour les fréquence VOR il faut aller dans le FMC/nav radios et les mettre 113.50 et 115.80 aucun problèmes. AlainV
