June 3, 201214 yr Hi, Since the ERJ V2 from Wilco is discounted at Simmarket for a couple of days, I'm thinking of getting it. However, it says that only 32-but operating systems are supported. My system is a 64-bit Win7 OS. Is there anyone who uses this Embraer on a 64-bit OS without issues? Thanks, Kevin L
June 3, 201214 yr No problem whatsoever!! The reason they stipulate only 32bit compatibility is because it was only ever beta tested on a 32bit operating system. DIMITRI
June 3, 201214 yr Your post mentions both ERJ and EJets. I have both but if you only buy one I recommend the ERJ over the EJets, I like the VC better. If you like them alot, you can also looks at McPhat liveries although the price adds up quick. Turbine sound studios made a great sound set for both as well which is about $12 each.
June 3, 201214 yr The reason they stipulate only 32bit compatibility is because it was only ever beta tested on a 32bit operating system. this is no longer true. at the time of the Ejets v2 design, coding and release 64 bit was 'the rare' OS kernel ... to the extent that the minority of the feelThere beta tester group has win7. it is because we didn't have a 'critical mass' of win7 64bit testers to feel confident to state 'works with 64bit' on the addon's release now, with widespread use of win7 and newer CPUs the majority of testers are using win7 64bit. all addons and games feelThere has produced since the release of Ejets, Aug. '10, have been tested on 64bit Win7 systems. -- ERJ V2 from Wilc Wilco had nothing to do with the ERJ v2 (nor the Ejets v2). both are 100% feelThere products from conception, development to distribution. Wilco, like Simmarket, happen to be a 'store' you can purchase the feelThere addon. -- D. Scobie, feelThere support forum moderator: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/169-feelthere-support-forums/
June 3, 201214 yr If there is no problem with Win 7 64 and this aircraft, it might be a good idea for them to "update" their marketing / support material. I have considered buying this aircraft on a few occasions, but the message about only supporting 32 bit systems has deterred me. Warren Warren
