  1. I had the same problem, but I was using IE10. If I worked my down through the menu selections for Products, only the Addon Livery Pack came up. Eventually, using other search options I found it.
  2. Just out of interest Dave, I have the Wings of Power Heavy Bombers working in FSX too. If you go to the A2A Forums, they have info for how to port them across. The Lanc VC looks a bit worse (even) than in FS9, but the other bombers are pretty good in FSX. Just in case. ^_^ Cheers, Warren
  3. I have the Wings of Power (A2A) version that was included in the Wings of Power Heavy Bombers pack. It is very good, but unfortunately not available from A2A any more. Maybe you can track down a copy via EBay or similar. http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&sqi=2&ved=0CC4QFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.a2asimulations.com%2Fstore%2Fwop_retail%2F&ei=FcTdUrrzGPGziQfSh4HgCA&usg=AFQjCNFmgt0YqwYq8VXTaooqLdBgtljSOQ&sig2=mVRpFdorLtf1gMkvYMrrbA
  4. Still not much help for you Harald, but you got me interested enough to try a few more things. I tried substituting the default B737 kneeboard files into the DF727, but still crashed FS9. So it's not the format of the DF727 checklists etc. Tried Windows mode and Full screen, still crashes. I then tried running in Windowed mode, but I opened the kneeboard files from the File manager. They open as expected in a separate window, but of course FS9 pauses while that window is open. You can then return to the FS9 window and it continues running. Not sure what that is telling us, but it seems that the way the kneeboard runs from within the DF727 is causing a conflict. So, I suppose if you really wanted to have the kneeboard checklists etc available during a flight, it can be worked around by running windowed and opening them separately, or transferring them to a second monitor, but that is very messy. Pity, but at least the DF727 still flies nicely without the kneeboard items, so best to remove them, I think, to prevent accidently freezing FS9. Or, maybe someone else here is able to run it with the kneeboards and can enlighten us further. Cheers, Warren
  5. No Harald, I'm using NV GTX480. I also don't use any special enhancer programs, it's a pretty basic FS9 setup. I also have no similar problems with other aircraft, it's specific to the DF727. I'm pretty sure it used to work ok when I had Win XP as my OS, but now I'm using Win 7 64. Warren
  6. Hi Harald, This is probably no help but: I tried my DF727 to test the Kneeboard (haven't usually used them) and indeed I get the same problem. PC freezes and can only be unlocked by using Task Manager. I tried using a different key assignment (desperate hey) but problem remains. I tried just accessing the Kneeboard via the windows menu, same problem. I tried using Firefox and Google Chrome instead of IE11, same problem. So, I couldn't solve it either. Only person I can think to get help from is Paul Golding who often posts here at Avsims. Cheers, Warren
  7. My Carenado V35 works fine with Win 7 64, but yes, it's a little outdated by todays standard. Still flies well though.
  8. Very similar experiences for me, I have always kept FS9 mainly for a few special aircraft (eg. DF 727), in addition to my FSX. At least that was my excuse for keeping FS9, but, strangely, I find myself constantly using FS9 over FSX, simply because it runs so smoothly (even with extensive scenery addons) whereas I spend sooo much time tweaking FSX hoping to improve things.
  9. Definitely FT YSSY and Orbx NZAA
  10. Glad I kept reading this thread now. That is the news I have been hoping for, for a long time. I currently keep my FS2004 almost solely for my DF 727, still a great aircraft. I'd be perfectly happy with a DF quality 727 for FSX. It's pretty clear that PMDG won't consider it, so a DF (Paul Golding) version would be an ideal substitute for me. I really hope this happens Paul. Thanks.
  11. The DF 727 The DA Fokker 70 / 100 Stability and performance of FS9 I also have FSX as well though.
  12. I now have both, thanks for yours.
  13. I'm actually finding the BBS Airbus quite good, and continually improving. My only disappointment so far is the lack of liveries (since the new v0.6 release), does anyone know where I could find some (especially Jetstar). Where can I find the ANZ livery used in the video above?
  14. I don't really care too much about the Paintkit issue for now, but it seems to get most of the publicity. I was eagerly awaiting the release of this Aircraft, I love the DC-9. As soon as it was released I was about to grab it, but started reading different opinions about it, some reporting bugs / issues, some loving it. So, I've been waiting, watching, reading what I can here, but I find it hard to get a good feel for whether the issues are valid, serious, or only minor. I have read about the impending release of a Patch, the release of "unofficial" hotfixes etc, but I still can't find satisfactory reviews by members here to judge if I should just buy it (yet). All links point to the Support Forum, but of course, you have to own the aircraft to see any worthwhile (detailed) info on possible issues. Bit of a "Catch 22 " for me. I know it's Flight 1 and I can get a refund, but I'd prefer to avoid that if I can. I still want to get this one, but I'd love to see some more open info to help me decide. Hopefully, we get some reliable feedback after the release of this latest Patch.
  15. I've been waiting patiently to upgrade my Airbus X, but in the meantime I picked up the BBS Airbus and find it quite good. I don't really understand all the criticism of the BBS bus, and I'm sure it will keep on improving. I'll still upgrade my Aerosoft bus when it is released. I suspect the lead time for the FSL bus is still a long way off, but I'll probably pick it up eventually.
  16. I have both (CLS and PMDG). They are very different as discussed already, but both are fun in their own way. Surprisingly, I usually fly the CLS one more these days because of limited preparation time, it's a bit easier to hop in and fly quickly.
  17. I use both FS9 and FSX on about an equal basis, but this survey doesn't really allow for that answer. It often depends on what type of flying I'm planning, more often FSX for GA Aircraft, and FS9 for the big jets.
  18. I couldn't agree more. It's still one my favourites, I've retained FS2004 just to be able to use this one. I know it's payware, but so good for such a small cost.
  19. If you are asking about the re-release of the old PSS installers, the answer is "yes". I contacted them with proof of purchase for the old PSS Airbus Pro, and they supplied me with a new installer.
  20. If there is no problem with Win 7 64 and this aircraft, it might be a good idea for them to "update" their marketing / support material. I have considered buying this aircraft on a few occasions, but the message about only supporting 32 bit systems has deterred me. Warren
  21. I just purchased with Paypal, no problems at all. I live in Australia. First impressions are very favourable.
  22. I'll be very keen to get the BAE 146 from QW, it's quite an interesting aircraft, and that model looks superb. If the systems are up to normal QW standard, I'm definitely in.
  23. I'm of a similar view. I had been a long term subscriber to CP, but ceased my subscriptions for a couple of years when they switched mainly to FSX articles (I stayed with FS9 at that time). I maintained my PCP subs though. A few months ago, I renewed my CP subscription (I'm now converted to FSX) after constant reminders and offers from CP. Unfortunately, I received one copy and nothing since. I'm still hopeful of receiving later copies that I have paid for, but I have some doubts. After my experiences, it is unlikely that I'll be renewing again. Warren
  24. So do I.I have just bought this aircraft based on feedback in this thread, but the livery I was hoping to use is Jetstar, which is IAE sadly.Warren
  25. Thanks for the HU on this. Looks very promising.I'm a huge fan of the DC-9's and the B727's, I actually have FS9 still installed for my Dreamfleet 727 and the old F1 DC-9.I'd love to have both of these for FSX, still hoping that Paul G will one day upgrade his 727 to FSX.I'll certainly be looking closely at purchasing this DC-9.
