April 13, 201313 yr Hi fellows, We all know how beautiful are PMDG aircrafts for FSX, I think every one of us wanted to fly ALL of their models, my great experience began with jetstream, then DC, then 737 then 747 I cant wait to try 777 but I got the feeling that an aircraft is missing in this great and perfect family, A 727-200!!!! it is a claasic on aviation all around the world, don't you think PMDG should surprise us and develope it for us? imagine the most classic airplane model on the hands of the best developer!!! and we to flight it, so please help me on this quest so PMDG CAN HEAR OUR VOICE GIVE US THE CLASSIC PLEASE!!!! please reply and togueter we can!!!
April 13, 201313 yr Commercial Member I actually would love if if we did a 727 - unfortunately though, I don't think it would sell well enough to justify the development time at this point - they're only in use with cargo airlines and we've been down this road before with the MD-11. April 13, 201313 yr Commercial Member I can remember how noisy they used to be. A few still operate privately out here however I think it is mandatory to have hush kits installed. Rob Prest
April 14, 201313 yr Sorry you're mistaken....The next a/c will be the Airbus 330 and A-340-600. I believe they are now tired of easy stuff like Boeing airplanes; they will now try modern, advanced, challenging Airbus.
April 14, 201313 yr Even if they did it, do you realize how long it would be before release? So far they are working on the 777 series Sometime before/after that is the DC-6 Not to mention another service pack for the 737 as well as the ER, BBJ, and Mil variants Then they are planning a V2 of the 747 So far that looks like 3 years at least.

Dont forget the Woodpigeon! Only then can we get a 727! Daniel Miller
April 14, 201313 yr They're also doing the Dash 8, although we haven't heard about it for a very long time. Thanks, Kevin L

April 14, 201313 yr ...I would be happy if ANYTHING came out from PMDG the in the next three years... The 777 is coming this year, and if we're lucky, the 747 V2 as well. Thanks, Kevin L
April 14, 201313 yr Author how about a little market research for Ryan from PMDG, lets say if a 727-200 from PMDG is released after or at same year as airbus or 777 (to not confirm any rumors) will you buy it with a similar price as 737? I actually would love if if we did a 727 - my dad flew it from all 3 seats and it was his favorite airplane over his career. I flew on them a ton as a kid. Unfortunately though, I don't think it would sell well enough to justify the development time at this point - they're only in use with cargo airlines and we've been down this road before with the MD-11. thanks Ryan but I think it can have success it will be like bringing a classic back to life, you sad it they dont flght any more only for cargo every product with a good marketing can be selled and this os a easy marketink product, bring the beatles back!!!! the only chance to flight them!!!
April 14, 201313 yr If I were an addict, I would want the market to produce more and more of my drug, and not of the other drugs around ... History DOES repeat itself! What happened to AVSIM
April 14, 201313 yr Yup, I think they should do it. I thought they were pulling out a classic series too? The 727 would be a good candidate for that. Jim Shield Cybersecurity Specialist
April 14, 201313 yr Commercial Member I think they should make IL-96, enough of western metal out already.
