July 11, 201411 yr PMDG 727, would be absolutely fantastic, the community would really like something like this.
July 11, 201411 yr My grand-uncle used to fly 727s for either Alaska or United, I can't remember. He's since passed away, but my uncle would probably get a major kick taking a flight in this thing. Ethan Edelson
July 12, 201411 yr Strictly speaking from a business standpoint and what model would garner the most worldwide sales for training and enthusiasts alike. A320 / 321 series wins hands down. I'm not an Airbus guy but even I would buy it to learn the Airbus flight systems philosophy and would probably end up liking the aircraft after I understood it better. If I'm just wishing what PMDG would do next- MD-80 series. No question about it.
July 14, 201411 yr I've been using FlyJSim's 727 and 732 on XPX and they are both great models. Not of any help if you don't have XPX, but it's getting some good addons. Worth considering if you're still waiting for a good 727 for FSX. I still run FSX for PMDG addons and a few other good ones. Jim Shield Cybersecurity Specialist
July 20, 201411 yr I actually would love if if we did a 727 - unfortunately though, I don't think it would sell well enough to justify the development time at this point - they're only in use with cargo airlines and we've been down this road before with the MD-11. And the analog systems tend to put a lot of people off. I know it does for me. 787 perhaps? Bryan Ott
July 21, 201411 yr And the analog systems tend to put a lot of people off. I know it does for me. 787 perhaps? Why do they put you off? They are more challenging to use which to me is better flying a modern jet gets kinda boring some times. Real planes spit burn dinosaurs from their exhausts and have gauges powered by steam haha.
