  1. Finished up the last remaining CLS liveries. DC-10-30F USAF 436th AW 40165 (fictional). [link deleted] What's included: Slime lights. Aerial refueling platform. Custom Bump and Spec Maps. Retextured Crew in Flight Suits Cargo Containers with DODAIC, NSN's, and Placards. Exterior livery featuring the 436th Airlift Wing out of Dover. DC-10-30F USAF 62nd AW 10135 (fictional). 2. Finished this up yesterday. The USAF once considered the Boeing 777 as a potential replacement to their aging Aerial Refueling platforms and to the C-17 for non-combat roles. That prospect has since lapsed, but a future use of the 777F for the United States Air Force is still a possibility, and this is a rendition of that possibility. Special thanks to Steve Drabek for testing. What's included: Slime lights. Aerial refueling platform. Custom Bump and Spec Maps. 3. For what this addon costs, I'd have thought they'd have paid a bit more attention to begin with and or provided a updated and fixed PSD for it. Guess I'll muck about with it.
  4. Obviously people have gotten it to work as evident by the various liveries out there. I'm at a loss on this one though.
  5. I'm not sure if this is me or not, but I've run into a problem with the Vert Stab and some serious alignment issues on the starboard side. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It looks as if the master texture sheets are off? Bryan Ott
  6. For anyone that wants them. My first and last liveries for this addon following it's terrible support. Fake reflections done and gone. [link removed] [link removed]

  9. The other thread was chocked full of dead links due to previous, ongoing and final updates to all of them. Only the liveries here should be considered complete. 10. Should have the American (N8009T) 319 updated to V2 sometime this week.
  11. Thanks for showcasing my stuff. Certainly not necessary mate. FYI, John and I are pushing the American V2 series out the door. I was finally able to nail down the Silver Mica paint American is using and I must say, it really looks like the real thing now.
  12. For anyone interested. http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/92055-american-livery-v2-testers-needed/
  13. Agreed. The 320 feels very dated. On top of that, the screens I've seen recently concerning the 330 are not exactly reassuring. The Pitots are odd, the AOA Sensors are wrong and the Static Ports are just off in my opinion. Plus the VC itself is nothing to write home about.
  14. Bit more tweaking. As you can see, its almost a perfect match for the base colors. The specs are visible as are the differences in reflectivity. Mind getting me some photos again, Mike? If anything needs to be updated on the 320's, might as well get it done.
  15. So a bit of a update on something I've been working on. I've been looking at ways to really, really recreate the American base colors off and on for a couple of months. As you may or may not know, its really hard to do something like that in Photoshop. Impossible would be a better description as American uses a special kind of exterior paint on their aircraft (Silver Mica System 7145) that has minute specks of silver colored chips in it. It's what gives the aircraft its almost glittery color. It's also what makes it appear dark grey and light white, depending upon the time of day, natural or ambient light sources and the weather. John is aware of this as well, however, he's having some PC issues at present and is currently tackling those. First test section. Current test section. Sorry I missed your post. Thread kinda fell to the wayside a bit. The font used is for sale, though a commerical license costs a fortune. John and I have it, but it came from American and cannot be distro'd to the public. As for the CS/US Airways markings (Operated by), they're on the birds that are using US Air registrations.
  16. I don't know. Why did the Scud MD-11 fly for as long as it did? I'd say money/cost expenditures are the likely culprit. The ATR's have problems when it comes to flying on one engine, especially if said failure is immediate. It's not that the PW127's are bad or anything. It's that the airframe itself struggles to stay aloft under certain conditions. Plenty of info out there on this.
  17. The engine flamed out and the bird catastrophically rolled to port. Nothing could be done. It's an ATR after all, and they're notorious for severe complications following a engine failure. Different angle. Different angle. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e36_1423052703
  18. LOL, they didn't. Not really. It was incredibly demanding back then as well. If you're intent on actually using it, I'd suggest a system that's not designed to be a portable workstation. Then you'll be able to achieve results like this.
