  1. Agreed Rich. Though I think the Aerosoft Bus lights are a bit overdone. No so with this 74. Seems just right.
  2. Okay, so I think I have it where I want it. Still needs adjustments and additions here and there. Anyone interested in a test flight?
  3. Nope. The windows are not painted on. They're part of the 3D model. Again, in order to create a true cargo varient with a seamless and windowless fuselage, you'd have to remove every tri and vert associated with them in the model itself. Granted, you could paint the cargo doors on though they wouldn't work obviously, but you could still do it. What tf51d pointed out is possible in other addons but again, that would only represent a 74 aircraft converted from PAX to cargo as the vast majority do not have that config.
  4. Has nothing to do with painting, Jim. I am a painter and a 3D Modeler. My point was that you'd have to alter the 3D Model to remove the windows for a cargo variant, and that is a violation of the EULA.
  5. How do you repaint a model? The textures aren't baked on so that negates that, and repainting in CC won't do anything for it. You'd have to unlock the model, which means hacking it, and open it in 3DS or Blender and proceed to remove the cabin windows and doors just to name a few. Pretty sure that violates the EULA...
  6. Yeah mate, but this isn't likely to get uploaded. Just to the one guy at SimHQ that wanted it. And yeah, we don't get a lot of love. But hey, I paint for myself more so than anyone else. Just like you. @ Steve Here's a chance to ask the man himself for the livery!
  7. It's not that they haven't been appreciative, its just that I'm getting rerquests for the enitire TAP fleet now. Personally, I've never understood the need for differing and numerous registrations of the same livery on the same airframe. I just don't get it. As for the paint-kits for the Aerosoft Buses, they're not typically exact in reference to the model. A lot of things are off or are thrown off by the low-poly model of the fuselage. Not much you can do about it. I was kinda hoping you had the CS T7. I've been wanting a KLM Biofuel paint for awhile now.
  8. That's just really odd. Are the FPS drops in the more noticeable in the cockpit, exterior view or both?
  9. Ended up going with the Southwest you provided. My 'M' in .com wasn't cutting it. So thanks for that. Even though that TAP paint was a request, I opened up a can of worms with that livery. Speaking of liveries, do you happen to own the CS 777?
  10. I actually ended up making my own. Thanks for the link though! Might change it out after doing some side-by-sides.
  11. I'd be interested to know what everyones system is, what other addons they have installed and what changes they've made to the config. I'm running FSX in 4K with no FPS issues relating to the Bus (318/319 or 320/321).
  12. I typically stick with only American when I fly. Call it brand loyality, but I prefer them for some reason. If you want that livery, then head over to the Aerosoft forums and shoot a really talented painter (John Glanville) a PM. It's his livery, and I'm certain he'll gladly give you a link to DL it. I haven't really gone any furthur with it as of yet. I still need to add reflections, do the airframe markings and paint the Sharkelts (which I'm not looking forward to), add gradients and increase the vibrancy of the colors. I've been procrastinating lately since the Last Stand DLC for BF4 came out. I really should finish it along with my BMI paint that's been sitting unedited for almost a month. What has really put a damper on completing it are the turbine housings. I can't seem to find the new Southwest.com logo in the new font or the new font itself that they're using.
  13. This (Southwest Bus) was actually a running joke at SimHQ. We were talking about what airlines have acquired or inherited which airframes. Discussing the likes of how American now has the largest Airbus fleet in the world, and someone brought up Southwest. I decided to take it on, just to do it for one of the members there. I'm not much of a fan of Southwest, but I do like their new livery/rebranding route they've gone down. Personally, for me, its far more pleasing to the eye than the previous livery they had had forever. Spirit! Buh... One of the worst airlines out there. Well, maybe Ryanair, I don't know, hmm. As for that livery, could you post a picture which one you're referencing? This one?
  14. I saw something yesterday, Something strange, Something odd, Something I had never seen before. This thing had always been on something else, Something terrible, Something with unaesthetic lines, Something with ugly cockpit colors. The thing deserved better. The thing deserved a Bus. ^_^
  15. Thanks for the headups mate. Eagerly awaiting that one. Much appreciated Keven.
  16. In reference to the above - http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/87846-metric-altitude-pfd-a320319318/
  17. Any chance of a release for the Aerosoft Airbus Series, like what you guys are doing for the PMDG 777?
  18. Look, the bus isn't perfect. Not by any means. However, AS are absolutely stellar in the support department and are far and away from any other dev like PMDG which can take days or even weeks to have a issue addressed, if at all. Am I a Aerosoft ######? No, not at all. Am I however enthralled to have a developer as invested in their own community as Aerosoft is. The fact that PMDG hosts its community and support functions via a third-party (AVSIM) oozes with complacency and laziness. But that's a discussion for another time. If you have a problem, post it. Aerosoft will break their backs attempting to resolve it for you. On a side note; I need a few testers to help me out with a fictional paint. If you're interested, shoot me a PM.
  19. I own Traffic 360, UT2 and My Traffic. To be honest, I dumped all of them in favor of the World of AI freeware stuff. I'll never go back to the payware based traffic addons, ever.
  20. I highly recommend it as well. It's really the only tube-liner I fly anymore, and I own the entire (pretty much) PMDG line. Hell, its the only aircraft I paint anymore as well.
