February 15, 201511 yr There are a few great Airbus painters out there.....Det's one of them and I've been trying to catch up flying some of his beauties.... This one is extremely nice....and looks so nice on my new PC! Even though I paint myself, I don't have the energy (or time) to paint EVERY plane I want to fly. I'm just as grateful as the general public that there are so many great contributors to our hobby. It is a GREAT relief that I don't have to tackle painting the marvelous Aerosoft Airbus series, and I can concentrate on learning to fly the 'Bus as well as the Boeings. A great paint just adds so much to the joy of flying in slightsim. Yep, there are the "purists" out there who never leave the cockpit, holding stubbornly to their belief that somehow never venturing outside the cockpit in flight somehow destroys all realism. Hmmm....not one to judge others.....but c'mon, its flightsim...you are "simulating". Try to think that there is a chase plane doing video expose' on your company's airline and you get to fly the bird they showcase! Besides...if you're that into reality....wouldn't you be doing a virtual "Pre-flight walkaround" of your bird? Hehe. It would be nice to have a great exterior model and paintjob for that, don't cha' think? February 21, 201511 yr Thanks for showcasing my stuff. Certainly not necessary mate. FYI, John and I are pushing the American V2 series out the door. I was finally able to nail down the Silver Mica paint American is using and I must say, it really looks like the real thing now. Bryan Ott

My pleasure Det....your paints have given me much enjoyment, and I know what it's like to have your paints appreciated and occasionally displayed here on the forums. Speaking of AA....I've actually taken my inaugural P3D flight using the V1 version of your AA 319! Currently decending into Cancun as I type (KDFW-MMUN). I'll pick up the latest version after this flight. Lifting off from 35L at KDFW The water is amazing in P3D! (already hooked on it!)
