April 14, 201313 yr I actually would love if if we did a 727 - my dad flew it from all 3 seats and it was his favorite airplane over his career. I flew on them a ton as a kid. Unfortunately though, I don't think it would sell well enough to justify the development time at this point - they're only in use with cargo airlines and we've been down this road before with the MD-11. Put me down also for the 727. I just love high tail aircraft and this aircraft has not had a decent version since the FS9 Dreamfleet 727. Ryan you mention the MD-11 as old but the DC-6 is even older yet is being done? I suggest another vote poll like you had when the MD was chosen would give you all the answers of whether it would sell enough or not? George T

April 14, 201313 yr I don't care, I just want a 777. They said when the NGX came out that the 777 development cycle would be much shorter because they 'have all the code'. Well, that's obviously not true. Enough planning for the future, work on the present and release one addon at a time. I would be fine if they either a) Take the BBS route and be active with their customers, and continuously keep us in the loop or b)Be quiet until they actually are 3-4 weeks from release and then TELL us we are 3-4 weeks from release, instead of saying they are 'getting closer' for the past 1 and a half years. I don't want to beat an old horse, so I'll leave it there. That's just my opinion.
April 14, 201313 yr The community is lacking and in dire need of a high-detail simulation (systems, engines etc, not just visuals) of both the 727 and the 757. I think it's a damn shame PMDG will probably do neither of these but this is, of course, just my personal opinion. Karl Brooker
April 14, 201313 yr ...I would be happy if ANYTHING came out from PMDG the in the next three years... :clapping: ZORAN

Well, that's obviously not true. Enough planning for the future, work on the present and release one addon at a time. The NGX development took around 4 to 5 years. The 777 has been in development for less than 2 years, and is much closer to release than the NGX was after that amount of time. Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk HD Shane Gavin
April 14, 201313 yr Author please we know PMDG tkaes his time to develope, also everybody knows IT IS WORTHY so dont deviate from the thread topic, will you flight a 727-200 from PMDG if developed? vote yes or no and help me show Ryan from PMDG that can be considered.
April 14, 201313 yr Yes a 727 would be awesome. But if we had to wait another 5 years for the LVL-D 757, I would kindly ask PMDG to do that. But now they have to do a lot of work with the 747 v2 the 777 and DC-6. - René Mosek - Future Owner Of: 'The PMDG 747-400 V3' B)
April 14, 201313 yr If they continue their current practices and quality, I will purchase everything PMDG produces. I already own all of their FSX releases so far. Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk HD Shane Gavin

Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk HD + 1 : The 737 is not the aircraft (not even the Boeing) I like most. But the way PMDG recreated it for FSX still makes it one of my favourite planes. April 14, 201313 yr Of all the jet airliners, the 727 is my favorite. Since FS9 there is nothing out there worth having (yes, I did waste my money on the CS offering). My wishes for FSX are a 727 and DC3. Dave David A Gubert
April 14, 201313 yr Commercial Member It kinda cracks me up that we released what's been widely regarded as one of the biggest advances in airliner sims in the history of MSFS less than 2 years ago (essentially 1 year of the intervening time was spent doing updates and additions to that product in fact) and people are already saying we never release anything new. The 777 is very close to done and having a new major airliner product out within 2 years of the last one is a huge improvement for us regardless of what anyone here playing armchair developer thinks. We're not pumping out models with no systems fidelity here, what you're going to get with the 777 is every bit as good as the NGX (if not better) and you're getting it in record time for us. If you're expecting major new products every couple months or something like that then you're going to be disappointed - it's just not possible to do that.
