Awesome job! Just a suggestion, but is it possible to make it so that this system is enabled 60-80% of the time when going through a cloud rather than all the time? Sometimes even in real life if the cloud isn't too thick it doesn't always engulf with wings, and if it happens all the time it may actually lower the immersion. Just food for thought. Yeah, I do, because liking a product that you don't makes me a paid worker for BB. /sarcasm There are people who like Wilco's Airbus products as well. Blackbox's product is much better. Visually it is nowhere near AXE but systems-wise it is better in some ways and worse in others. Have you used it? v0.8 is pretty good. It flies well and there are not many bugs present. A lot of people criticize BB for releasing an 'unfinished' product, but people have to realize that the product is unfinished systems wise. When it comes to bugs v0.8 doesn't mean that there are a lot of bugs, it's overall a pretty smooth addon, it's just that they haven't finished implementing everything they want. It's completely flyable though.

I have the Blackbox Airbus A320 v0.8 package, and it's great. It fixes the sluggish FBW and this is by far the best feeling Airbus available in FSX right now. Visually it's nothing that great, but systems wise it's one of the best A320s available, and it's easy on the frame rate as well. The A330/A340 should become as good with the v0.8 update whenever it's released.

There was an update today. UPDATE - (as many have been asking ) ok .. Mucho disruption due to the Death of my Wife recently, But we are still here and still working on the Airbus A320/A330 Updates. Some serious problems in VC Compiling (due to added complexity ) But these are now fixed or are being fixed.. Systems.. TOTALLY NEW PFD is almost complete in Airinc format. Very smooth and vast increase in Frame rates .. so thats a "where we are" right now... More info to follow and Update to be released as soon as we can complete and test it Thanks GW Are you ridiculous. They're a 2 man team and one of them lost their WIFE. I hope you realize how big of a deal that is. Before that, they were pretty regular with updates. And obviously there's a market for this thing, just because you don't like it doesn't make it 'wrong' perse. Their A330 is still pretty flyable.

I would switch to using a 3D panel in a heartbeat if it didn't cut my frame rate by almost half. In graphically intensive products like the NGX and AXE I can't use the 3D panel at all. That makes AXE a waste of money for me and 2D panels great on the NGX.

Did you turn on the APU before trying? The switches don't work for me either until I do that. Not sure if that's a bug or a real Airbus feature. Also, according to FB they are going to be doing an LCD version of the panel as well

Wow, you can actually hear the engines shutting down/losing power/dying when it crashes. So surreal. Where did you see that? I didn't know there was another angle.

It;s only April, and remember that January of this year they were on 0.54, now they're on 0.75. They're going at a pretty good pace.

FS2002 also had overcast clouds that actually obscured your view and made everything foggy. That even now hasn't been recreated in FS9/FSX.

Does everything have to be compared to the NGX? They're not aiming to compete with the NGX, never have, never will. Managed mode is the best of all airbuses avaliable right now. What the hell do you mean throttles and navdata don't work? Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Sometimes I can't comprehend how stupid some people can be. In other news, A320 V0.75 and A330 v0.65 are to be released any time today. Changelog coming soon.

BBS also has a full 2d cockpit if you're into that stuff. AXE doesn't.

Thank you. People buy planes from Wilco or Aerosoft because they're 'complete v1'. That doesn't mean they don't have bugs or are broken ala CS/Wilco. BBS decided that V1 meant EVERYTHING was working. Thus, anything before that meant it was v0.5,0.6 etc. The version numbers are an indicator of number of features, not number of bugs. There's a difference.
