June 3, 201214 yr - making a request for this in SP2. I belive some airlines do not have an ADI installed. Peter Osborn
June 4, 201214 yr I belive some airlines do not have an ADI installed. Are you sure? ADI stands for attitude display indicator or attitude director indicator. Rostyslav S Wanna fly 737NGX with turbulence?
June 4, 201214 yr I believe he might mean standby ADI, in that case, it is either mechanical or glass, both included. Otherwise what is meant could be standby RMI and I can not really see that missing. --Peter Fabian
June 4, 201214 yr No, I think he means the Automatic Direction Finder (ADF) system; and by ADI I think he means Automatic Direction Indicator. Qantas have taken delivery of all their new 737's without ADF installed as have a number of other airlines. Since we're on the topic of requesting new things, my wish list is as follows: - a Qantas VH-VZT livery. - an updated XPONDER panel. - updated Captains and FO's NAV panel. - delete the rudder trim indicator.
