Remove the ADI/ADF in FMC aircraft options

Featured Replies

- making a request for this in SP2. I belive some airlines do not have an ADI installed.

I believe he might mean standby ADI, in that case, it is either mechanical or glass, both included.

Otherwise what is meant could be standby RMI and I can not really see that missing.

No, I think he means the Automatic Direction Finder (ADF) system; and by ADI I think he means Automatic Direction Indicator.

Qantas have taken delivery of all their new 737's without ADF installed as have a number of other airlines.

Since we're on the topic of requesting new things, my wish list is as follows:

- a Qantas VH-VZT livery.

- an updated XPONDER panel.

- updated Captains and FO's NAV panel.

- delete the rudder trim indicator.

Michael McKenna.
