June 4, 201213 yr Hi Guys I only have this problem with the NGX. I set up flight with fuel and payload, I set the elevator trim, such as 5.1%. When i get to a speed of V1 etc for take off, I pull back on full elevator but do not get any lift for say another 700 feet of runway and another 30 knots of speed. Any ideas to my problem? I think my NGX is not giving me ample elevator up deflection for lift. Thanks for any advice Bob
June 4, 201213 yr V1 isn't a takeoff speed, it's the speed at which you can't perform a rejected takeoff anymore. Vr is your rotation speed, and that's when you pull gently back on the stick to get airborne. Read the tutorial, it explains this. AJ Pongress
June 4, 201213 yr Have you calculated take off performance correctly? Perf init, both to ref page must be fieled for FMC calculations. Rostyslav S Wanna fly 737NGX with turbulence?

Hi Trip7cap 737-600 FMC for fuel/load gives me V 117 VR 118 V2 128, this is with a TOW of 121.90. Thrust was 91.6% Flaps 5 with a Trim of 5.12 Reached a speed of 168 knots before I could take off. Also, are you checking your control surfaces on the SYS page of the lower MFD? Your elevator indicator should deflect fully up and down on the vertical line. (the display between the two CDUs...are you checking that your joystick/yoke gives you full range of motion over the control surfaces?) I suspect that your joystick or yoke is only giving you half deflection up or down on the elevator. A number of things can cause this, but see if that's what the problem is before anyone starts going into deeper troubleshooting. That's what I would suggest for you. AJ Pongress
June 5, 201213 yr The trim value do you have is what the ngx elaborates for you or is something you put in? Same for GW ngx generated value or your one? Check also hyd pumps, if you have all of them off, on the ngx, the aircraft will move elevator of about few degrees this limiting the manouvers. Regards Andrea Daviero

ZFW - 106.70. As you can see I am not getting full deflection if it should reach the top with the elevator fulled fully back. As yo can also see, I have full defection in the FSX calibration window. All Hyd pumps are on and a trim of 5.65 applied.
June 5, 201213 yr What about the axis sensitivities within FSX? I used to have a similar problem and realised that they were too low. I have them set at 100% with small dead zones (to avoid hardware spikes). George Golas ---------------------- I hate gravity!

Thanks to all for your help. Bob
