Dubai OMDB development?

Recommended Posts

Is Aerosoft currently developing Dubai scenery? There is a post on the forum here I found about it with a link. Maybe someone knows?

I see the library has a scenery on here but apparently it is extremely FPS intensive. Has anyone tried that one by Oliver?

I sincerely have no idea, but I hope they make up something for dubai, it is a nice city that neads heavy work to accomplish nice results

I recall reading (and also posting here) about at least two different developers - neither of them is Aerosoft - are working on Dubai Airport. Take a look at these http://fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=238231 and http://fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=246016. I also believe that I read about FlyTampa updating their OMDB for FSX, but I'm not sure where this info is from.

Regards

Flo

The first one appears to be dead, although I don't actually see why it would be dead after all.

On the forums over at Aerosoft there is quite long thread about the development of OMDB. Aerosoft is developing it and there were others developing their own. Not sure if they teamed up with Aerosoft, as they won't tell you that I think.

Maybe someone privy to this can comment?

Yes, but there's nothing to see here at the moment.

A new OMDB + Emirates or Cathay PMDG 777 + Kai Tak = one hell of a flight.
