missing SIDS and STARS

Featured Replies

i am having problems with getting FSBuild to display certain SIDS and STARS. i have updated FSBuild with AIRAC Cycle 1203. i have generated the fsbuild nav data indexes in options, closed the program and restarted. the problem i am having is that when i create a plan i only get one SID for FAJS - HGV4A. i know that there are many more, so where are they? havs anyone else experianced this?

i know that there are many more

I have no idea what the 1203 data contains - 1206 contains numerous SIDs for the airport, all depending on takeoff runway. Make sure you select a runway from the dropdown list - not the default that is shown when you enter the airiport ID. Also make sure you're running FSBuild 2.4; earlier versions don't use the AIRAC.

After an autobuild select the runway you wish to use and then use the dropdown in the departure airport area to see which ones are available. FSBuild limits the label length of SIDs and STARs. Pick the nearest one and note also there might be a different version number in the abbreviated label.

Also, to add to DJ's and Ron's posts, you can look (using Notepad) up procedures in your FSbuild folder .. they are text files.

Thanks for the info, i found the best and only way that i could get it right was to download and install the 2.4 update. i then installed the 1203 airac and presto, all the latest Sids and satrs. thanks to everyone for their input, i can now fly in the present

In your original post you mentioned you :

"i have updated FSBuild with AIRAC Cycle 1203". So, the assumption was, your cycle 1202 (or previous) was working ok.

The only way you could do that (use Navigraph cycle 1203) was to first have the FSBuild program updated to accept them... that goes back to Jan 2011.

Also, I wondered why you posted the FSbuild problem here in the AVsim FS9 forum in the first place?
