Lancair- awesome aircraft

Featured Replies

I am addicted to the Lancair by RealAir Simulations. The simulated vibrations even down to the gauge needles is something to be seen!

One question- I have recently tried flying at night and note that the panel lighting has some flood-lighting as well as gauge lighting- I have tried the various options for panel lighting intensity in the configuration window. Is there something that I am missing or is this the way it is? If so no problem- I just want to be sure I'm getting what is intended for panel lighting. I am turning this on with the switch in the lighting bank.

Thanks, Bruce.

You're correct, it's operated with one switch.

Thanks Ryan. The bar keeps getting raised higher and higher by some of these add-ons...

I'm with you...love the Lancair. A little pricey but worth it.

On Saturday, I flew what probably was one of my most memorable FS flight in the past 25 years in the Legacy. With likely many more to come. I'll posting a debrief and some screenies soon over at the Owners Club in the near future.

I too have become a devoted member of the Realair Legacy Cult ah....I mean Owner's Club. I just finished a one hour VFR flight around Northwest Florida and South Alabama. Great weather today and enjoyed buzzing a few lakes where I fish. Now the best part was after landing. I think I discovered a new hidden feature of this plane. As I was taxiing to park, I found myself actually having to clear my ears!! :Hypnotized: Now I don't know how the crew over at Realair did that and I hope now that the secret is out that they will tell us how it is done. That gives a whole new meaning to "real as it gets"!! :LMAO: :LMAO:

Be careful using the word "cult", people might get suspicious. For now, please stick to the secret handshake... ;)

That's one thing I've always wished I could do - paint a nice texture!
