Typical day

Featured Replies

What would be a typical day for a low cost pilot based in the uk. Typical routes and times would be helpful. I know most would do anything between a 2 sector or up to 6 sector day with a turn around time of about 25 mins.

- a low cost pilot??

A typical day for a pilot is going to depend alot on his senority. That may not be true in the UK, but senority is everything at a US airline.

The most favorable routes/ segments will be given to the top ten percent- senior guys,

Sure it does asking abour routes flown by NG pilots on a typical day give or take, what else does it need to be about to satisfy your over zealous standards?

If you hate to be rude, then don't be rude.

Unless of course you're a moderator.

Some of our typical rosters based out of DUB are as follows for A320 a/c:

[From memory back in about 2008, probably been adjusted slightly since then]

DUB->GVA->ORK->GVA->DUB.

DUB->AMS->DUB->NCE->DUB

DUB->CGD->DUB->ARN->DUB

DUB->LHR->DUB->LHR->DUB->LHR->DUB

DUB->MAN->DUB->LGW->DUB->MAN->DUB

DUB->AGA->DUB

DUB->ATH->DUB

DUB->FUE->DUB

You should get the general gist of it there...
