July 5, 201213 yr Hi! I am having problems starting the Nemeth Designs/MilViz Ch-47 Chinook . I have read through the manual to find out how to start this bird but it never seems to happen :( . The engines *DO* start-up but there is no rotation from the blades what-so-ever (Even with the ECL in GND Mode). Could someone please explain to me how to start-up this helicopter or any kind of tutorial would be appreciated! Kriss :t4012: Kriss

I would suggest reading the manual again as it starts perfectly for me. Do you have acceleration installed? It needs this to work. January 6, 201313 yr Can you share your solution? Maybe there is a catch somewhere. I went to Nemeth forum and there were some tricks with different helicopters, like the one with Huey. Somebody got it running via ctrl-e and then he cut everything off and saved it. After that he was able to do cold and dark start ups.
January 7, 201313 yr Well, it seems that this chopper is not even designed for cold and dark situation. I tried the trick a fellow simmer had done and switched everything off, saved it and reloaded from save. Batt on, ENG COND flight, fuel pumps on, avionics on etc. It is one of those lucky go happy addons.
