Q for pilots about Air France report opinion piece

Fact of the matter is, the situation was totally controllable, but, due to lack of training, experience and airmanship, it ended with hundreds dead. The good thing to come out of this accident now is that most airlines training programs have improved, pilots no longer buy into the "Airbus can't be stalled" idea [as they never should have] and the skies are a safer place. It's just a pity that so many innocent people had to perish for that to come about.
