Music - Microsoft Flight current download (menu, Hawaii).

Hi,

Just joined, partly in the hope that someone can please help with my latest obsession. It's not just the current Microsoft Flight, which I have just installed and I like, but the music.

Does anyone know what this slide-guitar/banjo instrumental is, and where I can get it? It sounds a bit like the Eagles. I have searched the web, including this and other forums (fora), and can find no reference to it. I can't get it out of my head, and having the album may be the only cure. Yes, I know it's pathetic, but please humour me.

MS probably hired someone to record that, they way they don't have to pay royalties.

I liked the Hawai'i beta music a lot, darn MGS replaced it with the release version music. On the other hand, some people turn the music off completely.

Best regards,

Luis

That is what I finally did, turned it off. The music when you pull up the map, was really annoying.

The release music was indeed annoying. The music for the Alaska version is great. If you've still got the music turned off, turn it back on and check it out.

Problem solved, thanks to McMasterGold on the Steam MS Flight forum. Here's the result.

MS Flight Music - Pyramind Studios, for Microsoft Studios.

Looks like there's no album unfortunately, just the one piece by Paul Lipson, specially for Microsoft. McMasterGold posted the following link to download the MP3, which he extracted from the game files.

Details about the music production and Paul Lipson can be found here:

(Note the spelling of mircrosoft [sic]; amazingly it's spelled like that in the text as well).

That's all folks, thanks for your attention.
