Can you go into BIOS or not?

What is the memory Voltage supposed to be? 1.5 or 1.65? Your BIOS shows 1.5 if the memory requires 1.65 you cannot have 1.5

Change the DRAM voltage to 1.65 if that is the voltage required for your memory. or

See AI overclock tuner.... Click on that and it would give you an option to change it to X.M.P. Pick one of the profiles for that... don't do anything else...save with f10 and test that out. That XMP Profile would have a very precise profile for that memory..including the right voltage settings

And did you check with ASUS the compatibility of that memory ?

Another thing., it would help if you post here about the things you have done on your end. Like for e.g. you posted problems with the boot drive, we gave you some suggestions...but not heard back what you did to solve it. This way I would have an idea what you have done and what you have not done on your end.

I can't get into the BIOS.....doesn't post....

Can you try resetting your BIOS again? If not, is there a PC store near you... it may cost you like 80 bucks to at least diagnose the specific component that is failing. They may have some CPU or memory that they can swap as a process of elimination to identify the offending component.

Here in the DFW area, Fry's electonics would do that. Call Best Buy to see if their PC squad can help you isolate the problem.

After taking my computer in the motherboard was bad again. I have ordered a new motherboard and a CPU and I will have the repair shop install all the new components. Hopefully everything will work fine now. Not sure why I had the same problem twice.....

Do you still have your old components?

I don't trust computer repair shops in general.

First of all, clear the CMOS, and make sure any switches on the motherboard are in the correct non overclocked position. This should always be done when you get a new motherboard or when you run in to problems. After that see if you can get the computer to POST.

Once your computer POSTs. Get hold of a copy of Memtest and boot with the Memtest CD.

I always do this after I have installed new memory before booting in to windows.

That way you make sure the RAM is not flawed to start with. Flawed RAM can cause all sorts of weird problems and can easily mess up your installed Windows copy.

So after Swapping out 1 CPU, 2 MBO, 1 PSU we come to found that it was a Case issue.....what the?!?!?!? Repair shop is rebuilding PC in new case. I hope this everything will be fine now! What are your thought?

Not sure but for some reason the case I had was giving trouble to the MBO.....My new PC is running great so far!! Here is the new case I got.

Lol, say what? A case causing a pc problem? Now that's a first...

Or was it just a computer poorly put together?

You replaced the power supply with the case?

Bad amps or faulty power supply is usually the cause of spontaneous reboots or shutdowns.

Doesn't seem like it. The case is on its own. Without PSU.

So I had ordered a new MBO and CPU and when the PC Repair shop put it back with the old case it was having random shutdowns again.....He ran the PC with the MBO out of the case and everything worked fine. They then call me and said it was the case.....I was surprised....Took my PC home last night and it been running for 10 hours and its still on working great!!! I guess the case did really fix it.

No I did not.

Cases do have sometimes contact with the motherboard, but the spacers are supposed to prevent that contact. Could have been that.

Or could have been a dodgy peripheral such as the USB ports on the front or the power button that's connected to the motherboard, reset button, and lights etc.

Very unusual though!

The stuff you named - one in a million.

I'm glad he resolved it!
