My new FSX-ONLY PC will be:

ASUS P8Z77-V

Intel i5-3570K

8GB Samsung 30nm 1600 DDR3 Dual Channel Kit

EVGA GTX670 FTW 2GB

As you can see, I will be using some components from my current setup. Thanks to Manny for helping me get on the right track, after being away from assembling PCs for almost 4 years!

What you guys think? Be gentle, please. LOL

Looks solid... like I wrote in another thread... I'd seriously look at a 240GB SSD for FSX. I'm on a mushkin 120 myself and it is really filling up... especially with Orbx and AI traffic...

Oops one more thing - don't forget a CPU cooler... H80/DH14/Hyper 212 whatever

Thanks for the comments, ryan! Honestly, even back in the days when I used to install TONS of things for FSX, I never exceeded 64GBs in storage. In my specific case and FS needs, I think 128GB will be more than enough. =) As for the cooler, yea, I forgot about that. But it's ok, I can get it next week because I never overclock a new system until at least a few weeks have passed by. Old habits. haha

How do you connect 3 monitors to one card? Or will it be two cards?

The card technically has 4 outputs.

2 DVI-D

1 HDMI

1 Display Port

I will connect one monitor to each DVI-D and the third goes to the HDMI.

If anyone is interested in buying a TripleHead2Go Digital Edition, I listed it in the Classifieds Forum. ;-)

Don't sell your Triple head to go before doing a compare (3 monitor setup with TH2G0 vs 3 monitor setup on the 670) and post those findings here.
