July 28, 201213 yr Got home from work to find my copy of X-Plane 10 had arrived. Yay! Spent Friday evening installing it whilst watching the Olympic opening ceremony. (who says I can't multi-task?). Left it defragging overnight when I finally crawled into bed at 1am, and I'm now looking forward to a whole weekend of getting to grips with it. I'm quite excited. Graham

July 28, 201213 yr Author Thanks! Been playing around this morning. I've been simming since FS98 days, and I've got to say I'm grinning from ear to ear with this! Added the Carenado Seneca and the Challenger 300 (That'll be QUITE enough money for a while) and I am, indeed, having a blast...love it. Graham

July 29, 201213 yr As new X-Plane 10 users, you owe it to yourselves to take a nice, slow flight through the northern Cascades of Washington state and BC. Best default mountain scenery and sense of flight in any sim. Crank up the details if you can, especially water reflections, and skim the surface of a mountain lake. You'll thank me. :D "No matter how eloquent you are or how solidly and firm you've built your case, you will never win in an argument with an idiot, for he is too stupid to recognize his own defeat." ~Anonymous.
July 29, 201213 yr Author Ok, thanks for the tip. I'll head off there this morning. I'll report back! Graham Sent from my BlackBerry 9300 using Tapatalk
