  1. Fantastic work! Will be downloading this shortly. As has been mentioned earlier, I am glad I invested in 16gb of DDR3. Once again, great work! Cheers!
  2. Yeah saving and mounting a copy of the disc image should work. Daemon Tools Lite is a free program that will allow you to mount disc images.
  3. No problems here. I am happy with the progress made thus far. The past couple of betas have increased my performance greatly. Now I am able to run in hdr with decent frames. ^_^
  4. Same here unfortunately. And I just switched from a Radeon to an Nvidia graphics card too lol. :LMAO: I am sure the HDR performance will be ironed out before 10.10 releases though.
  5. Hmmm, I see what you're saying Timmer. I also think the runway lights are too dim. I have not had any freeze ups, But I get little micro freezes here and there that last about a second, and my HDR performance seems to be a bit worse at same settings as well. I hope Ben irons these inconsistencies out soon.
  6. Yay! My hat switch sticking issue is gone! :yahoo: Everything is running great for me so far. It's bug hunting time!
  7. Closing in on a decade eh? What an excellent run it has been thus far! Happy Birthday FS9, and cheers to the community and developers that keep you looking and running great after all these years, I applaud you all. :Applause: Thanks for all your contributions, hard work, and passion. Now that I got the formal talk out of the way.........It's party time!
  8. Welcome to the future of flight simulation called X-Plane! Glad to know you are having such fun. The more the merrier i always say. ^_^
  9. Hooray! Now I can use my hat switch again to look around the cockpit! That was my only problem since beta2. Good stuff. B)
  10. Freeware you say? Holy crap! Good stuff.
  11. Hopefully this gets more folks to buy the sim and see what people have been talking about.
  12. ^^ +1 I am definitely going to be happy about the joystick fix. ^_^
  13. Same here, My sidewinder force feedback 2 is going all crazy. No tension just a loose stick, wacky controls, my hat switch is messed up, and when I tried to do something about it in the controller setup and tried to reset my buttons the interface kept glitching out. Filing a bug report as well.
  14. Pardon me everyone if the following may seem overly defensive or combative. Perhaps I am confused as to the intentions of the OP. If this is the case, I apologize for being off base. I do not wish to make any enemies or anything, I think this is a great community in general, But I come to this section of the forums to read about other X-Plane users' experiences, discuss all things XP, and read constructive criticism about said program. A snarky topic headline and a 9 month old video with no explanation as to why it was posted doesn't fit any of that criteria in my eyes. To OP: You are aware this is a pretty old video from 8-9 months ago before XP10 even came out right? You probably are. Also, What's up with the seemingly patronizing title of this thread? What's wrong with KSEA? I am at a loss here. You didn't even say anything about the video you posted, which, perhaps in my opinion only, strikes me as bizarre. So Austin chose KSEA for the demo, So what? If this is a joke, I don't get it. Please enlighten me.
  15. Thanks Phantom! B) I have an update for all of you. I just purchased a Geforce Gtx 460 256-bit 1gb GDDR5 for 40 dollars on my local craigslist! Now, I know it's not as good as the Gtx 560ti, But it is still much better than my Radeon HD 6770. And aside from that, i couldn't pass up this card at such a low price. I am going to be testing it out in the coming days, I am sure my performance will be a bit better now, especially with HDR enabled. Oh, What goodies you can find on craigslist sometimes! :P
