July 29, 201213 yr Flight is now a stain on their record, and they’ll simply not let that be the final word on the matter. If this was some time back 10 years ago or longer I might follow this logic but Microsoft outside of the Windows platform itself hasn't had a good idea since launching the Xbox 360 in 2005 and that almost blew up in their face with overheating issues. For years and years and years now Microsoft tries all these stupid new ideas to reclaim the glory they had around the time Windows 98 was at the peak of its popularity and time and time and time again they fail.. Either with mobile devices, redesigning their own software line with unbearable ribbons and flashy user interfaces, and lately redesigning Windows itself only for the soul purpose of merging in with their mobile device line that always fails to capture enough of a market share for anyone to really care and they keep going back for more.. Microsoft Kin should have been the sure fire sign to Ballmer to get out of the mobile market because they have NO clue. But nope.. More new phones, and merging Windows in with the phones now.. This isn't the same Microsoft you or I grew up with.. Once Gates weened himself out (2006) they've been in a slow and painful decline.. It's a miracle Windows 7 is even as stable and great as it is..
