There is a problem with GSX and the NGX,as in the wrong doors are opening and closing.

 

MCE 'crashing/exiting when it shouldn't. Some people have reported this.(Version 2.4.9.3 is currently under testing by some users for this issue)

 

 

FS++ are aware of these issues and are working on an interim update for the NGX door issue hopefully by next Wednesday/Thursday.

 

The interim crashing issue is being worked on and I will keep you up to date on that.

 

The next FULL release will be in approx 15days.

 

 

BTW if we can all set our debug=1 in our mce.ini file and start to build a list of unrecognized words and then send the file (missing_fo_words) to the FS++ team; who can then make the changes to the grammar file.

 

Then this way MCE will become even better than it is today.

 

I will keep you all up to date on these changes

Can confirm that the interim release will be on Thursday 09 August (UK Time!) and will include 2 new Flight Attendants (Yvonne and Jessica)

Just some last minute testing to be completed

Here's the change log for V2.4.9.4 (V2.4.9.3..was a test version only, not released to general public)

 

- Improved behaviour when switching airplanes without restarting MCE.

- Fixed door manipulation (automatic closing and opening) when under GSX

- Tweaked grammar files for Native and Radar Contact ATC.

- Fixed a small issue with application wizard (Step 9).

- Added 2 flight attendants voice packs (Yvonne and Jessica).

I am new to MCE so this is my first update. Do i completely uninstall and reinstall new version or just overwrite?

Completely uninstall and re-install new version. Do not overwrite.

 

Just go to control panel and 'uninstall program'. DO NOT remove anything left over when that process has finished. It will keep your license file in tacked.

Seems to me that FS++ doesn't leave too many problems sitting around too long. Really great to see.

Yep, have to agree, just done a flight with RC4, went faultless, great flight. Well, apart from Muppet user errors that is :P

Haha, don't ask how many times I ran over the mechanic. No, really don't ask. So I wasn't alone on that one, ha! That poor guy.

YEA, I get slightly confused as I use GSX, of what to say at the point when push-back has stopped. Perhaps because the workload is high at that point (or it could just be me!)

 

Perhaps we could come up with another phrase or something?
