The Saitek pedals have a tension adjustment, but even at the highest setting it won't emulate a real pedal feel. However, they do offer more resistance than the CH pedals.

The only way you're going to get the same feel as a real pedal feel is to build you own or perhaps spend a chunk of change for the higher end pedals.

I like the Saitek Yoke. I wish the Cessna version was available when I bought mine. It turns 180 degrees.

I wish I had have known the Saitek yoke didn't turn through a full 180 degrees when I ordered a few months ago. I thought the only reason for the extra $30.00 was the fact that it was Cessna branded. Oh well!

Thanks a ton for the replies! This has given me a great place to start my search for stuff.

Gonna start looking through the download libraries to find some cool stuff to get me reaquainted with FSX, been a while since I last played.

Thanks again.

Another question, as far as planes go, I'm assuming payware planes are the way to go? I'm interested in the mainstream planes (A320, Boeing 737 variants, etc). What are the "favorites" that you guys have (talking about the developer not boeing vs airbus). I've checked PMDG and I just don't think I can justify 70 bucks for 737NG model. And I for the life of me cannot remember any other sites off the top of my head.

I just want a model that has all the switches and toggles available to be used.

Well if 70 dollars is too much then you could look at Ifly 737. Its much cheaper and includes pretty much all switches and systems used in normal operations modeled well. Not as good as PMDG but still one of the best simulations out there.

Ok cool, I'll look into that. What are peoples opinions on the Wilco planes?

Guys, some of you are recommending the Saitek rudder Pedals.. Is it really much better than the CH Pedals? Does it give some basic resistence? Ch Pedals I can move it with my toes which is silly.

I remember after doing 15-20 Touch and goes when I was learning to fly, My thighs used to hurt, stepping on it so much when taking off on go arounds.

CH are a toy imho... they don't feel anything like a real plane.... waaay to loosey-goosey. The Saitek combat build quality is leaps and bounds over the dated CH product.
