Space Battleship Yamato!

Apparently a big-budget remake of Starblazers, the ancient Anime import is out there and they are not releasing it in America, or even translating it. (They think the American market would not accept it) :(

I think they are wrong! I..... want..... this...... movie!!!

Anyone else out there think this looks absolutely awesome??

It was released on December 2011 and I already have a version with Spanish subtitles. It tries to follow the Yamato story.

FYI there is an anime remake of Spacebattleship Yamato:

Looking into it further, this property has a quite long and busy history both here and around the world. There also appear to have been attempts, including one by Disney and a current one, to make this into a big-screen American movie.

Lets hope Michael Bay doesn't get hold of it!!!
