From reading this forum and couple others i have come to conclusion that i need to upgrade allmost everthing from my old computer. So these are my questions: Can i use my old case? Do i need new power unit? What kind of cables i need to plug all stuff? Can i use old ones? August 16, 201213 yr Hello Your existing case will be fine as will your PSU. Use your existing cables and don't forget to buy a decent cooling setup for that 3370K

August 16, 201213 yr the best you could buy is the H100 corsair for cooling I have heard that the Skill memory is N2 instead of N1 which make the memory a little slower A corsair is a N1 look at new eggs for more info paula
August 16, 201213 yr Rautaysi, i built my first PC on Christmas day 2011, i found these three video's very usefull indeed, i even followed the second video on my old PC whilst doing my first test boot on Christmas eve. Enjoy collecting the parts, i took month's collecting mine. Si. Simon Palmer.
August 16, 201213 yr Author Thanks for help. Have to check that corsair cooleer and g.skill vs corsair memory. Those 3 videos i just watched yesterday, and helped me to make decision that i can do upgrade myself. There seems to be a 4gb version of evga gtx670 too, but it is at same price as gtx680. Should i invest to 680 instead? Sent from my HTC Desire HD using Tapatalk 2 Rautiainen Anssi http://downloads.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/Boeing777_Banner_Pilot.jpg
August 17, 201213 yr HI Think the 670 2gb is more than OK. And you can take another MOBO to, for example a Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3H mATX that one overclocks like the UD5H a have and ar cheaper than the ASUS card. Hasse http://
August 17, 201213 yr if you read the latest review of the new coming gtx 660gti from zodac amp, it is a great one and cost half of the 680. I use mobo asus P8 Z77-V premium (one of the best and good for oc your processor to 4.8 stable. paula
August 17, 201213 yr Author I made my decisions and ordered following: P8 Z77-V motherboard intel i7-3770K EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 4gb OCZ Agility 3 120GB SSD Have study more about memory differencies before ordering. August 17, 201213 yr I bought this one Corsair Vengeance - 8GB 2133MHz PC3-17066 cas9 It is N1 cas 9-11-10-30 take care that you dont take cas11 this one is much slower H100 watercooler is easy to mount and gives no problem OC is easy for the 3770 to 4.8 and in that case you need the H100 if you dont OC then a noctua 14 NH is enough paula
August 19, 201213 yr Author Thanks doeke. Ordered same memory that you are using. Now it is just waiting for components to arrive. Sent from my HTC Desire HD using Tapatalk 2 Rautiainen Anssi http://downloads.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/Boeing777_Banner_Pilot.jpg
