Getting a working registration key ?

I am having great difficulty getting a working registration key.

I sent several emails, but apparantly you have to use the same email address used when buying the product !

Next you have to use a particular format when requesting a key !

 

Having finally surmounted the obstacles and get a key, it does not work !

 

I am running Windows 7 64 bit and launch the .exe file as administrator, enter the key and the program crashes.

Having bought the program and after much hassle it it still not working for me.

 

I am always telling people to do the decent thing and buy the programs they want instead of going to torrent sites, but given

the difficulty programmers put in the way of the law abiding users I have a little understanding for those who go to the " dark side "

Hi there: Check out Ronzie's reply at http://forum.avsim.n...-version-4-key/ or look at it in the post "Radar Contact Version 4 key". If one follows the instructions, they may not have problems. Most keys are transmitted automatically, IF THE INSTRUCTIONS for obtaining one ARE FOLLOWED. If JD is sent a personal email, instead, he has to generate a key personally and he has a family life, also. How he puts up with all of this is a wonder.

 

Take heart JD. The rest of us enjoy the program without registration problems and thanks for all you do, in spite of these problems. We'll patiently wait for your further work, so take the time to spend more time with the family. John

What error code is given on the program crash. ave you added the extra modules required for Win 7 which excludes earlier run-time modules from previous versions of Windows?

 

Have you:

1) included any "-" if present in the product code when requesting your key?

2) in pasting in the key received in the e-mail have you insured the cursor in the registration dialog key box falls immediately after the code without any extra trailing spaces?

as ron says, if you send me a key request for 12345, i'll generate a key for 12345. but if the product id is really -12345, the key i sent you, won't work. it's not supposed to.

 

also, if you are running windows 7, or vista, the directions explains that you have to run as adminstrator, by right mouse clicking the .exe or shortcut, and then clicking run as adminstrator. logging in as administrator doesn't count. either does an account that is a member of the administrator group. you have to run as administrator

 

also make sure there aren't any extra spaces in front of the key or after the key after you paste the key in.

 

if it's not a minus sign missing, and you are running as adminstrator, and key still doesn't work, send me a screen shot, of the registration screen, with the product id and the key pasted into the key field clearly visible. then i can tell you what is wrong.
