June 1, 201511 yr I think these lights are cool looking but unrealistic since on regular days with not a lot of moisture in the air, you can really see light cones. If A2A made these lights that would only turn on or be triggered my the appropriate atmospheric conditions, then I'd consider getting it. Otherwise it would be a hassle to manually turn then on or off depending on what type of weather you're going to be flying in. Jim..in many of my flights...there is a varied diffusion. It also happens to chance on what kind of light is installed. There are many choices, in the upgrade, and there are even 1940's ish....elements to be installed. I have done a 360 sweep of the Carenado Amphibian, and everything changes in light and diffusion depiction, on the angle of view, the amount of ambient light...night receding into dawn, into day, etc. I highly recommend this product...it so enhances reality, for light projection. What I can't figure out...is I have been around for a long time...and this really, really fell through the cracks for me....what a laugh! I had no idea what Shockwave was...not at all. A dog learns new sim tricks...(bark!).
