August 22, 201213 yr Hi there, I'd like to take my simulation to the next level in FSX. Other than the Boeing 737ngx are there any other payware out there that simulate aircraft pretty accurately with an FMS and all? I know there's a few 320 projects out there, but I take it there's nothing quite up to par yet that's actually out that is pretty accurately modelled in the 320 line? Also CRJ, Dash 8, Embraer 175, 190? Anything else?
August 22, 201213 yr The whole PMDG fleet uses the same navdata, so you could try any other PMDG aircraft. Also, AFAIK Feelthere's ERJs 130/35/40/45 and E-jets 170/75/90/95 have relatively accurate simulated FMS. You could give it a chance.

August 22, 201213 yr If you want something smaller, try the Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0. It has a pretty nice FMS. Chris Magnus HR Manager Air Jamaica Virtual Airlines and Cargo (http://www.airjamaicavirtualairlinesandcargo.org)

How do the FMS in both planes compare? Are any features in the CX 2.0's FMS that are not modeled in the CJ1? August 22, 201213 yr Wilco/Feelthere ERJ V2. Wilco Feethere E-Jets. Wilco/Feelthere 737 V2.If you want to add a Fully functional FMC to default or other freeware or lite mode aircraft there is ISG1. http://www.isgsim.com/
August 22, 201213 yr Moderator How do the FMS in both planes compare? Are any features in the CX 2.0's FMS that are not modeled in the CJ1? From my perspective, it's precisely the opposite! The UNS series of FMS's was designed by a pilot for a pilot, not an engineer for a pilot... ...and actually has far more capability than the somewhat 'ancient' Honeywell systems. What I mean by that is that the operations of the UNS series is very intuitive, so the "learning curve" is for all practical purposes pretty 'flat...' Rather than try to list all of it's features, have a gander at the full, real-life manual. Approximately 96% of the real-world operations are included in this sim version: http://www.igs.net/~...tors_manual.pdf One of the unique features is the "Company Routes" database. Company Routes Database A total of up to 2500 routes and 250,000 route elements can be stored. Each route will consist of at least one but not more than 98 legs (route elements). Route elements, reference waypoints, airways and terminal area procedures (SIDs, STARs and approaches) are accessed from the Navigation Database by use of reference pointers. Company routes can be given names of up to eight characters in length. A company route can also be copied into the active flight plan, where it can be edited, but the pilot cannot alter the basic route database. Fr.
