Initial load time with photoscenery

Featured Replies

I enjoy very much Prepae3d 1.4. My only issue is the dreadfully long initial load time with the addon photoscenery that I have installed. Anyone figured out how to mitigate this?

Are you using LOD 6.5? Are you on a standard HDD?

The first load of P3D/FSX with loads of photo scenery is slow, i would recommend starting the sim and then go make your self a drink while its loading and fingers crossed by the time you come back it would of loaded or almost finish loading :)

I keep all my photo scenery disabled unless i plan to go fly over some, but i do need a good scenery manager that works with p3d

Hi,

Cutting down on loading photo scenery your not going to be flying over will reduce the slow load time. I noticed the same thing in FSX, it happens with Simsavvy's entire US loaded into my scenery config file.
