August 31, 201213 yr I go seat of the pants when I fly GA, but for tubelining, I get a little more formal. I purchased UFMC and get US domestic routes from Flight Aware, and just plug them in. For non-US, I get my routes from Route Finder. August 31, 201213 yr For GA flights i plan using www.fl95.de, it is specifically for germany and very sophisticated... Inflight (in x-plane AND RL) i use iphone/ipad app 'Air Nav Pro', best in class for germany

August 31, 201213 yr I use FSWidgets Gmap with the Cloud based Navaid data on my 10" Android tablet and it works great. No flight planning, but you can load a flight plan in it.
