September 14, 201213 yr Don't know if anyone else has had this little problem, but when using AS2012 I lose a large part of the sky. [/img] This happens regardless which a/c I'm flying at the time. When looking out and slightly up the sky disappears and a huge black area appears. This happens outside the a/c also. If I disable AS2012, the problem goes away. Thank you. September 14, 201213 yr Wow I can honestly say I've never seen that. I hope you get it sorted. I don't even know where to begin for that sorry. Randy Swofford
September 14, 201213 yr Moderator In all a/c or just a specific one? Only looking up? how about left and right? Only in cockpit view? Same in spot? RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
September 14, 201213 yr Author I seems to happen with just about any aircraft I fly. It happens in or out of the cockpit and can happen in any view. Really weird. I've been using Project Lasso to turn off hyperthreading so curious if this is the culprit, I disabled it. When I get a chance, I'll try to fly again with it off and see what happens. Incidentally, it happened a couple of hours ago while flying the PC-12. I've got a couple of pics, but I'll have to resize them and upload. Thank you. September 14, 201213 yr Moderator IIRC there was a windows program called WindowBlinds that caused some strange things like that. Possibly the thread disabler could be causing it. Be interested to know what you find. Also look for any Windows programs that affect the graphics. I guess you could disable HT in the BIOS too and see what happens. September 15, 201213 yr Author Here's one I think you'll like. Flying the PC-12 from Barbados to Curacao. FL240, clear conditions. And one in the RJ over the Gulf of Mexico [/img]http://i1206.photobu...0-55-45-126.jpg[/img] Hopefully I'll get a chance to fly today without Project Lasso and see what I get. Thank you. Check what FSUIPC version you have. Get the latest, 4.820 made my AS work in a strange way. Now with the 4.852 AS2012 works perfect. Even destination weather seems to work, no need for a refresh anymore. September 16, 201213 yr Author I'm using FSUIPC version 4.853. I'm still thinking it's a conflict with something else but I haven't had the time to dig deeper. Hopefully in the next couple of days I will since heavy rain is forecast for my area. Thank you.
