June 28, 200421 yr Just to say that I've clicked my fingers to the bone adding lakes, rivers and roads to my Ground 2k4 Grand Teton NP project. I could probably add more but I need a rest!! Now, I'm going to double check what I've done and, assuming there are no major errors, I will post to the library soon (before end of week??). When it comes up I'd welcome any comments. This will be my first file post and G2k4 project so I'd appreciate any advice/comments/criticism.
June 29, 200421 yr I have just one comment before you upload - no matter how many people love it or hate it or tell you they lived in the Grand Tetons since they were three and its all wrong or they could see where they buried their dog...the only thing that matters it that by creating it, you've shared a part of yourself with the rest of us, and that's the most honorable thing I can imagine. To say thanks seems so insufficient knowing the hours or your life that your giving us...nonetheless: THANKS! I can't wait!Best,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
June 29, 200421 yr Awesome, so glad to hear it!!! I fly quite a bit in this area, I fell in love with the place when I first visited in 1998, I've been back 5 times since and even lived for a short time IN Yellowstone National Park :-)Danny[a href=http://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=root&SearchTerm=fritsche&Sort=Added&ScanMode=0&Go=Change+View]My work...[/a][a href=http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?photographersearch=Danny%20Fritsche&distinct_entry=true]See me at Airliners.net...[/a][a href=http://www.jetphotos.net/showphotos.php?userid=6673]Also at jetphotos.net...[/a]Intel P4 2.4GHzAsus P4PE MoboCrucial 1GB PC2700 DDR128MB Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro/Omega 4.6Maxtor 120GB 7200Rpm HD
June 29, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi Victor, looking very much forward to the Tetons as well! One option you might want to consider is to compile the G2K4 project with a separate road file, which users of the USA Roads package can disable. My North Cascades package was ready before USA Roads became available and now I get plenty of requests to issue an update with a separate road file - sigh!Cheers, HolgerP.S. Scott, that was a very nice thing to say, and funny too ;-)
