Do I rerload FSX SP2 after loading Acceleration?

Featured Replies

I just got around to loading acceleration, don't ask why, and it made me uninstall sp2. Should I reload it now, or was it part of Acceleration?

Thanks

Rick S.

I believe Acceleration already has SP2. So after installing Accel. you need not apply any further service packs.

Yes, it's correct. No more sp after acceleration!

I just reinstalled fresh FSX Gold. It is FSX and Acceleration as separate loads and yes SP1 and SP2 are included in Acceleration. I had difficulties when I reinstalled FSX over an already installed Acceleration so I recommend you install FSX fresh, reboot, then install Acceleration.

good flights, Cal

FYI, if you accidentally install SP1 and/or SP2 after installing Acceleration you will have all kinds of problems with FSX.

Best regards,

Jim
