I got curious and went to the properties folder of my fsx install...

Haha yeah, it has been ages from when I last time scanned my FSX folder.

 

193GB now.

It fills up fast, especially after you've been adding to it for 4 years. I'm almost up to 300GB now with all my addon sceneries and a/c and I don't even own much ORBX stuff.

 

When I built my rig I figured a 500GB HD would be more than enough and I would probably never even get close to using half the space up since my FS9 install barely made it to 100GB, especially considering that my rig is basically FSX only and I dont have much else installed on it besides FSX and the basics to make the computer work.. But then again, scenery package for FS9 were much smaller in size than FSX scenery addons are. Its not uncommon to download an FSX airport that is 100MB in size these days.

My addon scenery SSD has 293GB used alone :lol:

 

FSX is much smaller at 120GB.

I'm currently at 124GB. But I've cleared my virtual hangar a few days ago, and got rid of approx. 10GB.
